Splinterlands | PALIFALA WESLINATH is fit for both defence and offence role

Hello Splinterlands fam!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also spending a fresh new day with your loved ones. Though all of you are probably eagerly waiting for tomorrow to enjoy the weekend at its best. But for those of you who are splinterlands players and engage with this game on a daily basis, you may not be enjoying this Sunday. Because looking at the current season’s clock, we only have around 1 day and a couple of hours before this ongoing ranked season meets its end. So, whatever goals you have saved in your head for this current season, whether it is to climb enough trophies to reach a particular league tier and win some juicy reward chests, or to compete for a glorious spot in the champion top leaderboard, I guess you have reached there already, and now resting and recovering your battle energy bar. Because of not, well then, either you are an OG player riding the season-end bloodbath time, or you are a scared little soldier trying to score just some wins but don't have enough energy. No matter which one it is, I wish you all the best for the season end and a fresh, new ranked season tomorrow.

On the other hand, I am, as usual, playing the Frontier mode with full dedication and as I have shared with you all in my previous posts, right now, I am trying to build a max-level foundation card collection and for that, I am continuously playing the Frontier mode and winning daily missions. Today, I won all the 3 allocated missions in frontier mode and thanks to my upgraded level 3 archon water cards, I was able to complete 15 total wins with a weak energy bar. Anyway, I am currently sitting on the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,660, and having just one more day left before the frontier season end, I don't think I can do anything better. Now looking at the weekly frontier raffle, so far, I have collected a total of 36 raffle tickets and with another almost 2 days in hand, I can manage to get 4-6 more entries, I think, but let’s see how it goes in real life.

Now, after completing today’s 3 frontier missions and collecting all the rewards, I have a total of 5 foundation packs, all won in the last 2 days. I had already stored a ton of potions in my collection, so, without wasting any more time, I immediately opened them all and let me just share the outcome below.

As you can clearly see from the screenshots above, I got 2 Epics, 4 Rares, 1 gold foil Common and the rest are all Common cards. I am happy with the outcome, especially after getting 2 epics, because I am lacking so many epic cards and most of my epic cards are at level 2. Let’s now save another bunch and open again to share with all of you.

Now, let’s move forward and come to the main topic of this post, as today, I am going to discuss about another splinterlands monster from the Conclave Arcana, with all of you guys. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Palifala Weslinath. Ao, if you are interested in knowing more about it, let’s take a deep dive without any further ado.

Palifala Weslinath

The Palifala Weslinath is a monster-type card that was launched in the game with the introduction of the latest Conclave Arcana card set in Splinterlands. This monster belongs to the Life element, and it comes from the Gnome bloodline. By rarity, it is a legendary type card, so it requires a total of 11 CC cards to be upgraded to max level. It costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so ideally, you can use this monster in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Ranged, and apart from wearing a good health + armour combo at decent speed, this monster also features 4 abilities, which I am about to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster card possesses noticeable stats of 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 2 armour and 4 health. Apart from that, it also carries an ability since its initial level, called Sneak. With it, this monster can now target the rearmost enemy monster.

SNEAK - Targets the enemy unit in the last position.

SILVER

As you upgrade this Monster to level 2, it receives an increased stat of 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 4 health. Not only that, but besides that, it also gets a new ability called Relentless Strike, with which it now deals Extra damage to certain ability monsters.

RELENTLESS STRIKE - Attacks deal true damage. +1 damage if the target has void, shield or forcefield.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded to level 3, it gets further enhanced stats of 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 5 health. Apart from that, it also receives a new ability called Close Range, with which it can now attack from first position.

CLOSE RANGE - Can use ranged attacks from the first position.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster card to its max level of 4, it receives the same stats as its previous level - 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 5 health. But not to worry, because it does get a new ability called Mimic.

MIMIC - At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, gain a random ability from the enemy team.

Last but not least, this card’s high range attack, health + armour combo at decent speed makes it usable as a decent attacker + defender. On top of it, the sneak ability is awesome to kill Rear monsters, Close close-range ability for first place, fighting and the other 2 abilities are cool as well.
