Splinterlands | BELLA RATAJOWLSKI is best for Defending Physical Attacks

Hello Splinterlands fam!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and enjoying an amazing day with your family and friends. Now, for those of you who play this amazing strategic game seriously and engage on a daily basis, I guess you all are fighting in the battle arena and throwing everything in your arsenal to score some more victories, while fulfilling your duties in tournaments, brawls, Land and also in Frontier mode. If you are actively playing this ongoing ranked season, then I guess many of you have already reached your season goals by now, whether it is to reach a particular league tier depending on your card level and expertise, or to claim a glorious spot in the champion top leaderboard. But if not, well, then you, my friend, have to hurry, because looking at the season clock, we only have around 1 day and 20 hours left before this ongoing ranked season meets its end. Upon that, the season end brutal fight has already begun and there’s a bloodbath going on in the battle arena, as most of the players are actively fighting right now. So, all the best my fellow warrior and try to reach your gold as fast as you can.

Now, let’s talk a bit about my own performance in the game now and as I have shared in my previous splinterlands posts, I have been playing the frontier mode for quite a while now and at this point, I am literally obsessed with this new gameplay mode. There’s hardly any day that I am not playing this mode and even today, I spent a while and completed all three missions and earned myself 3 foundation packs and 9 raffle entries. For those of you who don’t know, this newest mode in splinterlands is completely free-to-play, where you don't need to invest anything to start playing and earn rewards, but you can choose to in order to boost your foundation cards collection and increase potential reward earning. Now, for me, I am currently playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,600 and I have already earned a total of 24 raffle entries for the upcoming frontier raffle, which is about to happen after around 3 days and 19 hours. Sadly, even after playing and entering the last 13 frontier raffles, I haven't won anything so far. But that won't weaken my spirit anyway and I will, as usual, keep grinding every season while hoping for the best.

Bella Ratajowlski

Now, let’s move forward to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another awesome Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing the Bella Ratajowlski. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

The Bella Ratajowski is an archon type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core edition card. This archon card belongs to the Life element and it comes from the Ulund bloodline. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you would need a total of 115 CC cards in order to upgrade this archon to its max level. It costs only 4 mana to use this archon in your lineup, so you can easily choose it when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League ruleset. These archons hold a normal and a bloodline buff, which gets applied to your friendly monsters if allowed by the rule. BRONZE - At Bronze max league level 2, this archon card can support - level 3 commons, level 2 rares, level 2 epics and level 1 legendary cards.

SILVER - At Silver max league level 4, it can support - level 5 commons, level 4 rares, level 3 epics and level 2 legendary cards.

GOLD - At Gold max league or level 6, this archon card supports - level 8 commons, level 6 rares, level 5 epics and level 3 legendary cards.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION - At its max league level of 8, this archon card will support all max cards - level 10 commons, level 8 rares, level 6 epics and level 4 legendary cards.

BUFFS

Just like most of the other archon cards in splinterlands, Bella also carries buffs and in her case, she possesses a normal buff and a bloodline buff, both of which apply since her initial level. Let us now dive into the details below at what this archon has to offer.

DEFLECT

0 damage from the Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast splash Damage.

All friendly monsters will receive the deflect ability at the start of the battle.

Now, the second set of buffs is actually a Bloodline special buff, so it will be applied only to the friendly monsters that possess the same bloodline as this archon card.

BLOODLINE DOMINION

Units of the following bloodlines can be summoned from any element and gain the linked ability or stat: Shield.

SHIELD

50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power.

As you can see clearly, this archon first of all gives your friendly monster a layer of protection from return damages by providing them Deflect ability. So, this archon will be very useful when you battle against magic reflect, thorns, return fire, Corrosive Ward, or Blast Splash damage. On the other hand, the bloodline dominion ability enables you to select monsters from other elements also, if they belong to the same bloodline as the archon, Ulund, in this case. Now, these same bloodline monsters will receive the Shield ability, so they will be harder to kill with melee and ranged attacks. So, overall, I think this archon will be very useful in battles c especially when you are fighting melee and ranged attack monsters and hence, I think it deserves a place in your arsenal.
