Fanart of Doctor Blight

Hi hello everyone and my hiver friends greetings to all of you and welcome to my blog. Hope you guys all are making amazing work for the weekly contest. This is also my entry for the weekly contest in @splinterlands. As usual my entry is new with new character. Today I draw Doctor Blight for my contest participation. It's a very interesting and attractive character. I decided to make it for my fanart in the contest. I want to share with all of you my artwork. First you can see the original picture that is my inspiration.

I want also tell you about this character before explaining the process. It's a mysterious and neutral character. The look and the name is also attractive. It's has also incredible abilities and mysterious power that became it popular among the other characters. I also have read about this character that Doctor Blight is a legendary so it can't be played in the lost lagendries ruleset. It's also a nuteral character so it's can't be played in the taking sides. Doctor blight has no ranged the damage attack. It's a magic damage so it can't be played in the damage ruleset.

Doctor blight is a magic monster so it doesn't have any reflection sheild. It will take damage at every time. It has 4 health no armour and it can't fly without any help. So it can die quickly in earthquake . Doctor Blight has affliction which prevents healing however it's a useless in the healed out ruleset. So I think you know much better about this mysterious character. Now I want to share my artwork process. So let's start.

Process

I opened my mini sketchbook and led pencil then started to draw the character. I started from the face look which is also interesting and unique. I draw big scary eyes with long peak nose. On the head I draw a hat that is covering the head of doctor blight. Then I draw neck and one side arm.

After this I draw hand holding a lamp. In the other arm and hand I draw in which doctor blight is holding a magic stick with horrible skull. I made a design in the middle of body.

Later on I draw a belt on the dress of doctor blight. At the last I completed gown of the character which is also till the end of body. I also draw design in the gown of doctor. My artwork is ready with led pencil then I draw it again with black pointer and removed led marks for next process of colouring and neatness.

Now I started to add colours in the character. Black colour is the main colour. So mostly I filled parts in black colour. First I filled eye in black colour then hat. In the lamp I added yellow shade. At the other side of magic stick I filled also in brown shade. Skull I left in same white colour just eye filled in black colour.

Long peak nose I left also same in white shade. Now I added colours in the gown. I used brown and black colour in the gown.
