Fanart of Sea monster

Hello hi everyone how are you greetings to all of you and welcome to my another art blog. I hope you guys all are well and making different characters in different styles using stylus drawing with pencils and other materials. So this is also my entry for the weekly contest in @splinterlands. Today I choosed very dangerous character that I feel Sea monster. It's looking like a snake 🐍. It's not my favourite and I always afraid of such characters. But I thought to make it for drawing also for my contest participation. I hope you will like it. You can see here my original inspiration of the character.

I also have read about this character that I also want to share with all of you. Sea monster has thorns on his body that makes useful for melee attack. Sea monster has heal that helpful for survivability and good choice for equaliser. Sea monster is a good tank however in the aimless ruleset. Sea monster loses his healing ability in the heals ruleset. Sea monster has no magic damage so it's can not be played in the wands out ruleset. Sea monster also has no ranged damage so it can not be played in the keep your distance ruleset. So it's enough to learn about this sea monster character now I want to share my draw process of this character for the weekly contest. Let's start.

Process

So first I took my accessories like white sketch paper and led pencil then sat comfortably in the light and heat of the sun for making my artwork. I started from the dangerous and scary face of snake. I draw head and open mouth with poison tongue. On the head I draw thorns.

Then I draw also wings waving on his head and the waving body of snake 🐍. I draw lines and completed body of snake in sitting position also in the sea.

Later on I draw fungus under side of snake where he is sitting. At this part I finished my sketch then draw again it in black marker.

Now I started colouring session of my artwork so first I filled face and eyes. I also filled teeth in yellow shade. Then mixed colours blue and sky colour in the body of snake. I coloured one side in blue and lining side in sky shade. This combination enhancing that thing is really a sea monster.

Just sketch took time but other process like colouring is easy and I finished it soon. So I completed body of sea monster like the same colour combination in blue and sky.

At the last step of colouring I filled fungus in green colour that is also beautiful part of the sketch. So my artwork is ready for final look you can see.
