DAY 7, Opening my first Standard pack!

Good Day Splinterlands Community!🔥

Today I have officially opened my first Standard pack worth 4000 DEC, this took me 4 days of grinding modern battles, entering brawls and tournaments. The excitement of opening the pack on your own hard work, before I opened I bought midnight potions in hope to get a black foil but unluckily we get none though I do not really expect anything from it. The pack is worth 4$ and as I check the worth of cards it is around 2$+. If you are going to ask me if it is worth it? probably not, but would I do it again, hell yeah! The excitement of opening packs and the probability of getting a gold or black foil is enough reason for me to do it again. On the positive side we luckily got an epic in this pack and 2 rares, not so bad, but that does not mean we are not on a loss.😅

If I am just this lucky on the pack and not on the reward cards. Imagine a card from the pack that is gold foil and an epic at the same time, Immaculate right. But yeah Olivia is one of my favorite cards, although it is already level 2 on my deck it is still an upgrade since every time that I am gonna use her again I will get an additional SPS and Glint boost.🤗

To sum it up, will I buy again? Of course! If you want to help your brother out I am accepting card and pack delegations😁😁😁

**WHO AM I?****

I started playing Splinterlands during 2021, I was young back then, just playing games and knowing nothing about crypto. I discovered Splinterlands while searching for crypto games that are somehow similar to Axie Infinity because it is expensive for me way back then. I am now returning to play Splinterlands and adopt to the current Modern Meta and apply what I have learned in crypto and also enjoy the game I once loved. Back to the present, I am now in College and I want to pursue trading, playing crypto games as my main source of income. I grew up loving money, loving how to make money circulate and how does a person need money. With crypto, I have been enlightened that just by using your devices and learning the basics you can earn more. I am playing Splinterlands because of my love for the game, and that is the reason I have been very active on Discord and Community meetings as well as blogging on PeakD

**WHY AM I WRITING BLOGS? **

I write blogs to tell stories, update new players about the Meta, share my daily experiences, and show everyone how a typical Splinterlands player views the game. I am showing you guys my perspective and journey and I hope that you are enjoying my blogs! Just like everybody we are also beginners at some point, we research, we play, we enjoy, and also we encounter people that inspires us or people that we became friends along the way. In the future I want to become a Maverick, a Land Owner and A crypto whale. I promise to help beginners and also the community in any way that I can and support SPL to the moon.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Learn the Meta, Invest in cards and SPS, prioritize buying epic reward cards and don't forget to buy gladiator packs for brawl, practice different decks, join brawls and tournaments to maximize earning SPS, and lastly and the most important one is HAVE FUN!
