Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!
A little while ago I thought, "Come on, we're going to bed a little earlier than usual tonight..." Then I thought, it's Friday, tomorrow is Saturday, and I have a family commitment in the evening, so I'd be hard-pressed to take part in the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. So, right now, even if it's not easy, I'm starting to talk about this great gaming platform, Splinterlands, but what am I going to focus on today?
Simple, a topic that's always been dear to me, one I've already spent countless words on, because there's so much to say, about Splinterlands' most distinctive token, SPS—yes, the governance token we've always followed and tend to accumulate, because, as good savers, we try to increase our stake availability of this particular token...
As I've said in several of my other participations in this Contest, I had very ambitious plans in this regard, which I've slowly had to scale back, because the operating dynamics of Splinterlands have changed, as have my earnings expectations, substantially impacting my growth. However, in my humble opinion, it remains a great opportunity to stake our SPS tokens, given their consistently attractive APR, which currently hovers around 10%...
Different hypotheses over time...
I was very excited at the beginning of 2025 because my SPS token accumulation growth rate was really interesting and good. For a couple of weeks, maybe even less, I even thought I'd reach the significant threshold of 40,000 SPS tokens staked by the end of 2025. I had to drastically revise my expectations. Now I'm sailing, relatively calmly, toward much lower levels. I've currently reached the following collection amount...
Just over 30.4K SPS staked, some of you will already know, my new, real, growth goal assumes having at least 32K by the fateful date of December 31, 2025, will it be achievable for me? It's really hard to predict, because by cross-referencing the data in my possession and doing the classic handmath, I receive about 5 SPS per day from staking this specific token, to which are added the fractions of SPS tokens I earn at the end of each battle won on Splinterlands. Therefore, returning briefly to this example, with just over 4 and a half months at my disposal, I can count on an increase of about 700 SPS from the quota deriving from SPS staking, so I would exceed 31K but almost 1000 additional tokens is certainly not easy to accumulate, even if I will try repeatedly to realize this little new dream of mine...
With an average win, at least as things stand, of around 3/10 of a SPS per win, and a winning percentage that's only just touching 50%, I can confidently say that, in the best-case scenario with this configuration, I could rack up another 3, at least 4 SPS per day, meaning another 400, maybe 500, maybe even 600 SPS by December 31st. But there's still something missing, even if not all is truly lost. It would only take something to change, in a positive sense, to give me a concrete chance of reaching the 32K mark by the end of the year. Is it an illusion? Utopia? Hope? Maybe a bit of all this and more, but the fact remains that I'll try to put in the hard work before raising the classic white flag...
Final Considerations
Setting goals and making predictions is always a positive thing, when you choose and pursue realistic goals, not absurd or unattainable ones. New developments can always arise, which can even alter our growth path on this gaming platform. The important thing is not to get too discouraged if you fail, and simply try to set more normal and easily attainable goals. Poco fa ho pensato, "dai, questa sera si va a letto un po' prima del solito...", poi ho riflettuto, è venerdì, domani sabato, in serata è previsto un impegno familiare, per cui ben difficilmente avrei potuto prendere parte al Contest di Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, per cui, ora come ora, anche se non proprio facilmente, inizio a parlare di questa grande piattaforma di gioco, Splinterlands per l'appunto, ma su cosa ho intenzione di soffermare la mia attenzione in data odierna??
Semplice, un argomento che mi è caro da sempre, sul quale ho già speso parole su parole, perché c'è tanto da dire, sul token più caratteristico di Splinterlands, SPS, sì, proprio il governance token che da sempre seguiamo e tendiamo ad accumulare, perché da bravi risparmiatori si cerca di aumentare la nostra disponibilità in stake di questo particolare token...
Come ho detto in diverse altre mie partecipazioni a questo Contest, avevo dei progetti molto ambiziosi a tal riguardo, che piano piano, lentamente, ho dovuto progressivamente ridimensionare, perché le dinamiche di funzionamento di Splinterlands sono mutate così pure le mie aspettative di guadagno, andando a ritoccare la mia crescita in maniera sostanziale, anche se rimane, a mio modesto avviso, una gran buona opportunità, quella di mettere in stake i nostri token SPS che possiediamo, in virtù di un APR sempre interessante, che allo stato attuale dell cose si aggira intorno al 10% abbondante...
Diverse ipotesi nel tempo...
Mi ero molto entusiasmato, a iniziio di questo anno 2025, perché il mio ritmo di crescita, a livello di accumulo dei token SPS, era davvero interessante e buono, per un paio di settimane, forse anche meno, avevo addirittura pensato di giungere, sempre al fine di questo anno 2025, alla rilevante soglia di 40K di SPS in stake, ho dovuto rivedere pesantemente le mie aspettative, adesso sto veleggiando, con relativa calma, verso livelli molto più bassi, attualmente ho toccato la seguente quantità di raccolta...
Poco più di 30,4K di SPS in stake, alcuni di voi già lo sapranno, il mio nuovo, reale, obiettivo di crescita ipotizza di possedere almeno 32K per la fatidica data del 31 dicembre 2025, sarà fattibile per me? Difficile prevederlo davvero, perché incrociando i dati in mio possesso e facendo il classico conto della serva, mi arrivano circa 5 SPS al giorno dallo staking di questo determinato token, ai quali vanno ad aggiungersi le frazioni di token SPS che guadagno al termine di ogni battaglia vinta su Splinterlands, ragion per cui, ritornando brevemente a questo esempio, con poco più di 4 mesi e mezzo a mia disposizione, posso contare su un incremento di circa 700 SPS dalla quota derivante dallo staking di SPS, per cui supererei i 31K ma quasi 1000 token di aggiunta non sono varamente facili da accumulare, anche se ci proverò ripetutamente a realizzare questo mio piccolo nuovo sogno...
Con una vincita media, almeno allo stato attuale delle cose, di circa 3 decimi di SPS a vittoria, e una percentuale di battaglie vittoriose che va solamente a sfiorare la quota del 50%, posso tranquillamente affermare che, nella migliore delle ipotesi con questa configurazione, potrei raggranellare altri 3, almeno 4 SPS a giornata, quindi altri 400, forse 500, magari addirittura 600 SPS al 31/12, ma mancherebbe sempre un qualcosa, anche se non tutto è realmente perduto, sarebbe sufficiente che qualcosa cambiasse, in senso positivo, per darmi delle concrete ulteriori chances di toccare il livello di 32K per fine anno, illusione? utopia? speranza? Forse un po' di tutto questo e altro ancora, rimane il fatto che tenterò di impegnarmi a fondo, prima di alzare la classica bandiera bianca...
Considerazioni finali
Darsi degli obiettivi, fare delle previsioni, è sempre un dato positivo, quando si scelgono e si perseguono dei traguardi reali, non assurdi o irraggiungibili, poi posso sempre insorgere delle novità, che posso anche mutare il nostro percorso di crescita su questa piattaforma di gioco, l'importante è non scoraggiarsi più di tanto, in caso di insuccesso, e provare semplicemente a fissare quote più normali e facili da arrivare, in ogni caso rimane la mia soddisfazione di prendere parte a questa iniziativa che risponde al nome di Splinterlands, se anche tu vuoi entrare in questo universo di gioco e non sei ancora regolarmente iscritto, puoi registrarti utilizzando, se vorrai, il mio link di affiliazione...
