Survival Mode Can Suck Up A Lot Of Cards
Hey guys I hope you are doing well these days and this is lucky ali again with the community engagement challenge. Time by time splinterlands team comes with the boom and this is the speciality of this game users like it and this new change is beneficial for both old and new players. So after the wild and modern format this is gonna be a third format of the splinterlands. You all guys played wild format and you know that all cards are available to play there similarly all the cards available to play in survival mode too.
The thing is there is win and loss so if you win the battle that means you win but if your cards are defeated then those cards will face a cool-down period. How this is going to impact the game economy we are going to discuss it.
It can increase the card demand?
Yes, it will increase the demand for cards because now users need multiple cards to play. There are countless monsters available in the market but what about summoners? If you play summoner and defeat in the battle then summoner will face a cooldown period and you know summoners are limited and you need summoners in every battle which is why summoner demand is likely to increase more.
Only time will tell how this is gonna impact the card price because this mode is still new. This cool-down period is going to play a big role in card demand and that is true.
I have played in survival mode
So I have played two battles in survival mode and I won one battle and lost another. You can see a red circle in the below image on Ice Pixie, Furious Chicken, Crustacean King, and Halfling Alchemist cards.
Those Red circles indicate that the cards are going in a cool-down period and it depends on the card level and rarity. For example, here you can see the furious chicken card which has got 12-day cool-down period it is a rare card and also has a high level but still you can see the cool-down period is long.
As a precaution, Here I can have an extra Furious chicken card to avoid this situation because this is an important card and the most used card by me because it is a neutral card and it has 0 mana. In the below image, you can see 12 days cool-down period.
So I liked the gameplay in survival mode but I will still play in the wild for a while or permanently. But right now I am not sure about it. Anyway, I would like to know your opinion on survival mode please leave a comment below, and for new players to join Splinterlands under me the referral link is below. Have fun.
