Now with campaign mode, you just need to finish some basic tasks which will help you to learning the game in detail in a fun way, and at the same time, completing these tasks rewards you with foundation cards and glints. These cards are free to play, and no penalty applies to you.
Now, after completing the campaign and getting some foundation cards, as a new player, you have to make one small investment to rent more staked SPs tokens, or if you can, buying SPs can be an excellent move, which will help you to earn SPs tokens and glint. So whatever you are earning, you can reinvest. There is one more thing: you can participate in Splinterlands challenges two times a week. There is a BOOK 1 - WAUR MEDGE ACADEMY, and there you have to complete a total of 11 chapters, and these chapters help you to learn how to select and place the cards, what mana is, attacks, attack types, abilities, and other stats of the cards. You can learn everything from here that is needed to play battles.
Here you can see that after completing 11 chapters of card types, melee, ranged, armor, speed, magic, abilities, mana, elements, and modifiers, and after completing all these tasks, the play now option appears. And free cards are gifted to you.
Every chapter you complete, you get glint and foundation cards as rewards. You have to do it as instructed.
Step by step and detailed information is there, you just need to check it closely and follow it, and this way you can learn the battles.
Claim the rewards and then click on the next chapter, and this is how you can complete all the chapters.
