Shin-Lo Simpsons Style

Hi guys Lorentm is back, today I want to share with you another work for the social media section of splinterlands, this time I wanted to experiment a little more with the drawing style of the Simpsons, as I chose the character of Shin-Lo, this being a dragon, it occurred to me to do it a little with trends to the old Asian drawing style, so the challenge for this work would be to adapt the dragon with Simpsons style, but at the same time have Asian tendencies.

For the design of this character, I observed a lot the drawing style of ancient Asian paintings, many of them were characterized by having fluid and somewhat intricate lines composed of many details, I drew the dragon trying to emulate that style, but without losing the minimalist sense that characterizes the Simpsons technique, especially in the design of the dragon's face I focused on having this drawing trend well marked, then for the background I gave myself the freedom to make it more Asian style, with waves and clouds well detailed, following the fluidity of the lines and provided with vibrant colors. This drawing despite having gone a little out of what I usually do had a very satisfactory result, I loved experimenting with this technique, later I hope to bring you another type of adaptation like this, greetings to all guys, see you in the next post 😊

Hola chicos Lorentm esta de vuelta, el día de hoy quiero compartirles otra obra para la sección social media de splinterlands, esta vez quise experimentar un poco más con el estilo de dibujo de los Simpsons, como elegí al personaje de Shin-Lo, este al ser un dragón, se me ocurrió hacerlo un poco con tendencias al estilo de dibujo asiático antiguo, así que el reto para esta obra sería adaptar al dragón con estilo de los Simpsons, pero que a la vez tuviera tendencias asiáticas.

Para el diseño de este personaje, observe mucho el estilo de dibujo de las pinturas antiguas asiáticas, muchas de ellas se caracterizaban por tener líneas fluidas y algo intrincadas compuesta de muchos detalles, dibuje al dragón tratando de emular ese estilo, pero sin perder el sentido minimalista que caracteriza la técnica de los Simpsons, sobre todo en el diseño del rostro del dragón me enfoque a que tuviera bien marcada esta tendencia de dibujo, luego para el fondo si me di la libertad de hacerlo más al estilo asiático, con olas y nubes bien detalladas, siguiendo la fluidez de las líneas y provista de colores vibrantes. Este dibujo a pesar de haberme salido un poco a lo que habitualmente hago tuvo un resultado muy satisfactorio, me encantó experimentar con esta técnica, más adelante espero traerles otro tipo de adaptación como está, saludos a todos chicos, nos vemos en el próximo post 😊

Este misterioso Dragón del otro lado del mundo habla en un idioma que ninguno de los Dragones de las Tierras Esparcidas puede entender. Desde su llegada ha provocado peleas con Dragones Relámpago, Dragones de Ciudad, Dragones Madriguera e incluso con el mismísimo Gran Dragón Dorado. Para los dragones de Gloridax, Shin-Lo no es más que un incordio, que se acerca sigilosamente por detrás y les da golpes bajos siempre que puede.
