Quora Files: Death Ripper

Let's open Quora files once again and find out about Quora's adventurous journey around Praetoria and beyond. When Quora was venturing through the cryptic lagoon, she encountered some strange beast monsters from the Death faction along with some neutral goons.

Although, she was not alone on this excursion, but her ally was not that powerful to fight those ambushers. But, they both decided to fight the blighted creatures to teach them a lesson so their masters could know the consequences of blocking the path of Quora.

Aim True

When this ruleset comes into effect in a battle, all types of attacks hit the target and never miss. Aim True is like the True Strike ability given to some monsters in Splinterlands. All types of evasion buffs, speed, and abilities become useless in this ruleset.

BATTLE LINEUP

There were 17 mana available in this battle, therefore it was hard to decide whether to go with low mana cost monsters or use 1 high mana cost monster.

STRATEGY

I had a feeling that my opponent could use low mana-costing units in this battle, so I thought to engage Quora Towershead in this battle.

• Quora's Bloodlust ability and her Heal are deadly combinations, once she kills a monster, she becomes a killing machine.
• If she succeeds in killing at least 2 monsters in the first 2 rounds, she can self-heal a higher amount of health and also strike monsters with higher damage.
• Lobb Lowland snatches 1 speed point from enemy monsters, therefore Quora has higher chances of attacking first and invading more attacks.

Summoner and Monsters in Action

Lobb Lowland is a rare Earth summoner with Conscript ability and -1 Speed debuff, he can summon one Gladiator unit in any ranked battle. It was necessary to pick Lowland to summon Quora in the battle.

Mycelic Morphoid is a common Earth unit, it costs only 1 mana and it can also deal Thorns damage when hit by an enemy unit. It is used to fill the first position, so Quora can use her magic damage and attack from behind while he is alive.

Quora Towershead is the MVP of this battle, she is from Gladius edition and falls in the Earth faction. She is considered to be one of the best Gladiator cards. She can be summoned into ranked battles using special summoners or battles having Are You Not Entertained ruleset. She has 2 attack types, therefore she can strike at her enemy with magic and melee attacks. Her Heal ability gives her 3 health restored in each round and she gains extra stats with Bloodlust ability when she kills a monster in a battle.

This battle is a lesson to those players who use low mana units in a battle and spam with damage, but when Quora enters a battle, she just needs to kill and grow her stats. Watch the video and have fun.

BATTLE COMMENTARY

Lobb Lowland sneezes and sprays enemy units with a slimy fluid which makes them lose 1 speed point.

Thaddius Brood uses her shamanist powers and reduces the health and magic attack of Lobb's units.

Round 1
Quora Towershead starts the battle, but she cannot kill any monsters due to reduced magic attacks.

Life Sapper easily kills Mycelic Morphoid and gets 1 extra health point. Quora raises an eyebrow and chuckles "Kids, kids, kids."

Round 2
Quora blasts Carrion Shade with a bubble of magic and makes a dressed chicken out of him, "Tada, let's put this thing in the oven."

Now, she slices Corpse Fiend with a sharp gladius sword and waves her hand to Chaos Agent and Venari Bonesmith, "Next, please."

Round 3
"Quora looks damn beautiful when she gains additional stats." says Life Sapper.

Quora responds "Oh! I am blushing, so sweet of you two-faced MF." and she continues her killing spree and kills Chaos Agent and Venari Bonesmith one by one.

Rounds 4
"Thanks for the lovely words, but I must show you the way to hell." says Quora with a smile, Life Sapper replies and bows her head "It is my honor that my life will be taken by you, honey, my head is yours."

Quora gently touches his neck and Sapper explodes like a swollen corpse.

Round 5
"I hate mercenaries, Uraeus, and you'll hate me for becoming your doom." Then she hurls a thunderous magic bomb on him.

She takes a deep breath and says "Wake up Morphoid, time to explore this sick place further, and don't forget to pick up my luggage."

STRATEGY OUTCOME ANALYSIS

Quora Towershead is a light in the darkness for players who use her in ranked battles with different strategies. But, it is amazing to witness that she can even survive in low mana battles without any support. She kills, she grows her stats, she heals damage taken, and the process goes on.

The strategy worked quite well when Quora killed her first target and she sealed her team's victory in advance. It is important that Quora gains some stats within 2 rounds to recover the damage taken by her, but in this battle, the low mana costing units were like cuisine on a platter served to her to eat them and become powerful.

She has also the advantage of dealing with 2 types of damages, this way she guarantees 4 damage in a round, and once she gains more stats, her total damage reaches the sky.

I'll try this strategy against other factions in my future battle, I suggest new players to join a guild and earn MERITS to get Quora Towershead as soon as possible.
