Conclave Arcana - A New Chapter in Splinterlands TCG

Hey, Splinterlands Battle Mages, A new saga is about to begin soon in the arcane world of Splinterlands, the rumors come true when Archmage Portia Nyr secretly plans to conquer the parts of Praetoria after creating a huge alliance of Conclave Arcana.

The beginning of a new chapter is about to start as Conclave Arcana is almost ready for a huge launch within a few days in the Splinterlands game. The marquee for the event is built and mages are already eager to enter to start the initiation of Conclave Arcana extravaganza.

The Hype Is Real for Power Hunt

The new set is offering a wide range of technical gameplay including unlimited new strategies and combos never seen before. It is a pavement for a new Modern and Survival mode where players will bring their sharp wits to place skilled beasts in the battlefield and make their war cries heard far away in Wild lands of Praetoria.

The players will dive into a new metaverse of Splinterlands which will give them powers beyond control, especially for new players the Conclave Arcana can prove to be a game changer, since they get 10 free starter packs when buying a Summoner's Spellbook. For seasoned players, it will feel like a fresh start as they will experience new gameplay with 82 new cards. The set offers 24 Common, 29 Rare, 14 Epic, 15 Legendary, and 9 Conflict cards for exceptionally diehard gameplay.

Bloodline Archons

The shiny rune-etched summoners with elemental and bloodline dominion abilities are known as Archons, the new breed of summoner is coming to Conclave Arcana, these summoners are supposed to change the course of the game completely.

Archons are the brand-new powerful summoners with additional magical abilities that will give players more power over choosing monsters regardless of what element they belong to and share their bloodline using the new Bloodline Dominion ability. The Archons can also invoke elemental powers that will provide additional buffs to the same bloodline monsters during the game.

New Design, New Foil, and New Abilities

Conclave Arcana artwork is made to perfection as its name poses a sense of mystery and power. The set contains 4 different designs as there are 4 different types of packs to be bought during the sale, these packs are named Starter, Standard, Alchemy, and Legendary, the price of packs ranges from $1 to $24.

Cards design is quite majestic, the monsters and archons are shown in a very thoughtful way and give a feeling of intense magical powers and hidden mysteries. There is more to explore once the whole set is revealed.

Look at these promo cards in the image below, the monsters look fierce with a faint smell aura and are loaded with magical powers.

Black Foil a New Type Introduced: Conclave Arcana also brings a new type of foil which is called Black Foil type, cards that appear with Black Foil wrapper are known to be fully upgraded and provide 5x more production points for produceable items.

The more prominent quality of Black and Gold foil cards is that you'll see a glazing animation of different runes on both foil types. Here is an image with both Gold and Black foil types showing animated artwork.

The players will quickly recognize the card foil as they see these animated artworks on both foil types.

9 New Abilities are the talk of the town as these abilities will completely turn the battlefield into madness and mayhem. Players will have more choices, more dominating strategies, more combinations, and more ways to defeat their opponents in the arena.

Here is the list of all 9 abilities and what effect they do:

Painforge: get +1 power for damage taken by poison, burning, or hit by an ally.

Reckless: Adjacent allied unit or not safe anymore, they may take 1 damage if the hit is successful.

Bloodline Tribute: When a unit dies, other units from the same bloodline get +1 to health, armor, speed, and power to each shared attack type.

Resurgence: The most powerful trait that resurrects a fallen unit by itself having 100% health and armor. All debuff is nullified upon revival and all buffs are retaken. The unit skips a turn and deals 1 physical damage to all units both friendly and hostile ones.

Shapeshift: This ability will allow a bloodline monster to change character in the same bloodline.

Final Rest: Suppress all allied and enemy abilities that work after the death of a unit.

Reveal: Camouflaged units are no longer safe from attacks; it removes Camouflage ability and makes the unit attackable.

Relentless Strike: A unit with this ability ignores Phase and Doge buffs of a unit and deals true damage upon hit.

Bloodline Dominion: Archon can summon the same breed monster from any element.

I personally like Resurgence and Bloodline Dominion, these 2 abilities can make the game more engaging, and the results can be quite destructive. Although, Reveal and Final Rest are dispelling effects can also be handy in most battles.

Time for a Fresh Approach to Battle Strategies

It is time to say "goodbye" to Chaos Legion cards including subsets, rewards, and promos as these cards will no longer be playable in Modern League. Those who only play Modern format battles, have to obtain as many Conclave Arcana Cards as they can because the newer cards they have the more chances of winning battles and earning extra SPS rewards.

There will be plenty of working strategies that can change the course of the battles, but I capitalize on having all Bloodline Archons as the first thing to achieve before diving into the new era of Conclave Arcana and Rebellion combos. Cards with Bloodline Dominion and Bloodline Tribute can be game changers and provide extra elemental powers through Archons' synergetic powers. Mixing different elements from the same bloodline and gaining their elemental powers could be a lethal combination.

Which Packs to Buy:

Since there will be 3 types of packs on sale excluding Starter packs, it would be quite difficult to decide which one to buy the most and which one least. But, there is a solution to it as well, suppose I have $100 in hand then I'll buy 13 Standard packs spending $52, then I'll grab 2 Alchemy packs for $24 and 1 Legendary pack for $24, this way I'll have around 2 guaranteed gold foil cards, 1 legendary and some epic and rare as well. Using potions on standard packs can increase the chances of getting more GF and legendary cards.

Conclusive Remarks: The Hunt Begins

Conclave Arcana will set a new standard and provide players with a new start to Splinterlands, new creative abilities will truly change the course of the battle strategies. The game will not be the same again rather becoming more aggressive and demanding. The new set has a blaze of desire to try out new things and make new heights of ranks in every league. There is something special inside Conclave Arcana that equally leverages the abilities of all new and veteran players.
