Social Media Challenge | When your speed is your enemy!

This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where the mana cap was limited and their will be interesting rulesets, because if you are not paying enough attention to it than you might lose this battle quickly. 😇

| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Odd Ones Out | You can only summon units with odd mana cost. |
| Reverse Speed | Units with the lowest speed attacks first and have the highest chance to evade attacks. |
| Rise of the Commons | You can only summon rare and common units. |
The mana cap was 34, which is not much at all and two of the rulesets will heavily limit the available monster pool, because the Odd Ones Out ruleset will allow the use only the Odd mana cost mosnters, so it remove more or less half the mosnters from the pool. 😉
The Rise of the Commons ruleset will allow the use only the Rare and Common monsters, which will remove the Epic and Legendary monsters, so creating the lineup will be more difficult and even the most powerful monsters will be banned as well. 😆
The third ruleset for this battle is the Reverse Speed, which is quite tricky, because the monsters with higher Speed will be the slower ones and even their evade chance will be less as well. Mosnters with only one Speed will be the best for this battle! 🤗

Franz Ruffmane

My plan was to use Franz Ruffmane as my Summoner, becasuse he gives +1 Armor to his monsters therefore they will be able to block one incoming Melee or Ranged attack. On top of that he is able to bring one additional Gladiator monster into this battle, which is always amazing, because if they start killing their target they can single handedly win the battle. 😁

Imperial Knight

The Imperial Knight is a very good tank within the Life Splinter, because he has quite a lot of Health and Armor, which will protect him quite well even without any defensive abilities. He also has the Heal ability, which will restore some of his lost health in every round. His only weakness is his low speed, which will be his advantage in this battle. 😌

War Pegasus

The War Pegasus cost seven mana, which is quite high, but he has +3 Ranged attack damage to allow him to deal significant damage to his target. He also has the Flying ability (it will help him to evade the enemy melee and ranged attacks by 25%) and the Shatter ability, which will destroy all remaining Armors of his target if he is able to hit them. 🤗

Stitch Leech

The Stitch Leech cost only three mana, so he is not the most expensive monster in the whole Splinterlands, but my main reason to bring him was the fact that he has +3 Melee attack damage and the Sneak ability to be able to attack the squishy monsters from the enemy backline.
Sadly my opponent brought the Disintegrator, so my Leech got one decrease to his Melee attack, because of his Demoralize ability, so as long as the Disintegrator alive he will have only two attack damage. 😋

Scavo Hireling

The Scavo Hireling doesn't have any attack on his own and I can not give him at all, but I still used him, because first of all he is cheap and more importantly he has the Repair ability, which will come handy in this battle. Even one Armor piece is able to block an incoming full Melee or Ranged attack, so restoring some of them back is a huge advantage over my opponent. 😏

Gargoya Scrapper

The Gargoya Scrapper is not doing much close to the end of my backline, but he cost only one mana and he is able to block at least to enemy attacks in case he fell into the first position. This is important, because I need to give all the help to my Katie to try to kill her target to became more powerfull over time. 😊

Captain Katie

Captain Katie is a very important monster in my lineup, because apart from her damage, which is pretty strong already she is also a Gladiator monster and such she has the Bloodlust ability, which means that he is able to increase his own stats by one permanently whenever she kills her target, which is super strong.
She also has the Snipe ability, so she will target the first Ranged, Magic, or Non-attack monster from the enemy lineup, which might gave her extra chance to secure her first kill against a squishy monster. 💪

My opponent brought Possibilus the Wise who is a Water Summoner and he is one of my favorite Summoner, because his abilites are amazing. First he gives +2 Health to all of his monster, which is always nice and he also gives the Trample and Reach ability to them as well. What this means is if he has a Melee attack monster in their second position they will be able to attack from there and if a monster with a Melee kills their target they will get an extra attack against the monster behind. 😜
In the first round not much happened, because both of our lineups were quite defensive and my opponent also brought some monsters to support their team with Armors and Heal.
The second round started the same wa as the first, but their was a very important moment when my Katie used her Snipe ability and managed to kill their Mar Toren Trader, so she was able to activate her stats as well. 😎
Sadly her Speed was also increased, which made her a bit weaker, but that is not going to affect her firepower.
Both of our frontline was pretty strong hence nothing happened in the third round, but in the fourth my team lost our tank against the constant attacks of the enemy monsters. The only good thing was the fact that my Katie killed their Wavesmith, which is increased her stats again. 😉
In the fifth round my Stitch Leech killed their Mandarin at their back and their Merdaali Guardian took some heavy damage from my Katie and my Stitch Leech finished her off.
My Katie was the slowest, because of her increased Speed, but luckily it took only two round to kill their tank and only their Disintegrator left in their team, whom couldn't do much to defend himself and let my team to win this battle. 🤗
