Overview

Today I brought a Wild battle, where I got loads of mana to spare choosing my lineup, which is my favorite. ๐Ÿ˜†


My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

RulesetDescription
Silenced SummonerSummoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
CounterspellAll units have the Magic Reflect ability.

The mana cap for my next battle is 60, which is more than enough to pick any monster that I like and if it is possible I need to try to avoid the use of magic attack monsters, because the Counterspell ruleset will hurt them badly.

The Silenced Summoner ruleset will remove all the abilities of any Summoner, so it is best to use the highest levelled Summoner for this abttle in order to take advantage of your highest levelled monsters. ๐Ÿ˜‡

The Pembrook Nymph cost 6 mana, which will make her not the cheapest Summoner and her ability would be to give +1 health to all of her frendly monsters. She has the ability to bring one additional Gladiator monster into a battle, but unfortunately the Silenced Summoners ruleset will eliminate all of her abilities. ๐Ÿ˜’
Commander Slade was a very obvious choice as my main tank, because he has quite a lot of melee attack and amazing speed with loads of armor and health. He might be able to soak up quite a lot of incoming damage and that is why he cost exactly 10 mana. ๐Ÿ˜Š

The Djinn Oshannus is an excellent off-tank and damage dealer, because he has a lot of health and also has the Void ability, which means that he is well protected against the enemy incoming magic attacks and even the Magic Reflect ability on his enemies works less effective against himself. ๐Ÿ˜†
Noa the Just is quite cheap costing only 5 mana, but he doesn't have too much health in return, but at least he got almost the same amount of armors, which is perfect to protect him even more. His strong features are his high speed and the Rust ability, so he will decrease all the enemy armors by two as long as he is alive. ๐Ÿ˜

The Kulu Mastermind is a very special monster, because he has the Weapons Training ability, so he will give his own attack to the non-attack monsters adjacent of him. Thanks to his Opportunity ability he will be able to attack from the back of my backline to try and finish off the lowest health monsters from the enemy team. ๐Ÿ˜‡
Originally I used the Clockwork Aide in my team to take advantage of his Swiftness ability, which will increase the speed of his monsters and on top of that he has the Rust ability as well, which will reduce the armor of the enemy monsters by two. On its own the Aide doesn't have any attack, but I placed him next to my Kulu Mastermind, so he got three melee attack from him, which is always good to have. ๐Ÿ˜…

The Swamp Spitter was my key monster in this abttle, because even though he has +3 ranged attack damage, which is nice his Giant Killer ability is pretty strong if my opponent brings a monster who cost more than 10 mana, because in this case he will deal double damage against it. He also has the Repair ability as well, which will allow him to repair two armor piece on a friendly monster who recently lost some of his armor. ๐Ÿ‘

My opponent brought Eternal Tofu, who is a Life Summoner and she is quite powerful, because she cost 7 mana and provide three abilities to her monsters. Luckily the Silenced Summoner ruleset will eliminate her powers, so she can not give anything to her monsters, which is good for me. ๐Ÿคจ

In the first round all of my monsters started attacking their Iziar, because she has the Taunt ability, with very good protection against magic attacks. She also ahs quite a lot of health, so my monsters couldn't kill her in the first round and luckily my tank was pretty strong as well in my first position.

In the second round my Swamp Spitter was able to use her Giant Killer ability, because Iziar costed more than 10 mana, so my Spitter dealth double damage to her, which was more than enough to kill her. Right after that my Kulu Mastermind activated his **Opportunity ability and killed their tank quickly as well. My tank was still alive at the end of the round with five health, which makes him quite resilient against the enemy attacks.

By the end of the third round my team killed another monster from the enemy team and soon after they also managed to kill their War Pegasus who fell into the first position.

Their Inevitable became as their new tank, who is quite strong as a tank, but the Giant Killer on my Spitter worked flawlesly against him as well, so he died rather quickly. Only one ranged attack monster left in the enemy team who was an easy catch for my Kulu. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy was to try to use a monster with the Giant Killer ability, because the high mana cap in this abttle will allow both sides to use some really expensive and strong monsters, so the double damage on my Swamp Spitter worked as I expected. ๐Ÿ˜Š
