Social Media Challenge | Playing against the rulesets! 🤞

Overview

Today I brought a Ranked battle, where I have kill my opponent monsters quicker than the Earthquake will kill my ones. Having monsters whom are able to give or take armors to monsters are quite advantegous, because the Earthquake will damage the armor first. 😇

My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

Ruleset	Description
Up to Eleven	All the monsters have the Amplify ability.
Counterspell	All the monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.
Eearthquake	Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

The mana cap for my next battle is 56, which is more than enough to pick any kind of strategy that I would like. The Up to Eleven and the Counterspell ruleset are effectively eliminates the use of any kind of Magic attack monsters, because they would receive enormous amount of reflected damage back to themselves. 😊

The most important ruleset will be the Earthquake in this battle, which means that every end of the round all the monsters will take two damage from it except if they are able to Fly.

My lineup


	Possibilus the Wise is an excellent and powerful Summoner, because he gives a lot of abilities to my monsters. The first is to increase their health by two and he also gives the Reach and Trample ability to them as well. This means that if I use a melee attack monster in the second position he or she will be able to attack from there. The Trample is also amazing, because if a melee attack monster manages to kill its target they will get a free attack against the following monster. 😆
The Diemonshark cost 8 mana, which is quite a lot, but in return he has a lot of speed, armor and health. Sadly he doesn't have any defensive capabilities apart from his high speed, but he has a lot of attack damage in exchange, which will be further boosted if he is damaged activating his Enrage ability. 😊
	The Coastal Sentry is quite expensive, because she cost 10 mana, but she has 3 melee attack damage, which wouldn't be so high on its own, but she also has the Double Strike ability, which means that she will be able to attack twice in every round. 💪
Arkemis the Bear is an amazing tank, because he has a lot of health and quite good melee attack damage, but more importantly he has the Protect ability, which will give +2 armor to all of his friendly mosnters as long as he is alive. 🤗
	Noa the Just is quite cheap costing only 5 mana and compared to his mana cost he has quite a lot of health and armor in return, so he was the perfect choice to use him as my tank especially taking advantage of the Equalizer ruleset. He also has strong features such as his high speed and the Rust ability, which will decrease all the enemy armors by two as long as he is alive. Luckily he is able to get three melee attack from the Weapons Trainer next to him, so he will be able to use his Trample ability as well. 🤗
The Kulu Mastermind works perfectly in any team if you put a non-attack monsters next to him to take advantage of his Weapons Trainer ability, so this time he was able to give a maximum of three melee attack to the monsters next to him. 😇
	The Deeplurker is an amazing damage dealer, because apart from his nice melee attack he also has the Opportunity ability, which means that he will target the lowest health monster from the neemy team, which will help to kill the strongest, but squishy damage dealers from the enemy backline. 😜

My opponent brought Quix the Devious who is a Dragon Summoner and his power (apart from the fact that he is able to use the Dragon monsters and a choosen Splinter) is to reduce the speed and health of the enemy monsters by one. 😁

In the first round their War Pegasus attacked my Diemonshark and even though he dealt only two damage he activated his Shatter ability and destroyed the rest of the armor on my tank. The first kill was their Venari Marksrat, because my Kulu was able to swing by and kill him, but that means he used his Martyr ability to increase his adjacent monsters stat by one, which was not a good sign, but at least he got a free attack on the next monster right after the attack. 💪

Just before the first round finished my Deeplurker used his Opportunity attack and killed their Drybone Barbarian and attacked their dragon for free who was beyhind him.

Sadly the two damage from the Earthquake was enough to kill my Diemonshark, but at least my Kulu killed their super damage dealer from their backline and his free attack was against their War Pegasus who almost died as well.

The Coastal Sentry attacked their new tank twice and killed it, so she got a free attack against their Uriel who looked pretty strong there. My Deeplurker finished the job and killed their War Pegasus, so for the next round I had four monster against their Uriel who managed to dodge quite a lot of our attacks and it took two full round to kill him, but in the meantime the Earthquake was continously damaged my monsters. Luckily my team was quicker than that and they managed to win the battle for me! 😇

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy worked as I expected, because my monsters with the Opportunity attack always attacked my opponent monsters which was the weakest in terms of health, but the strongest in terms of damage.

The abilities provided by my Possibilus was also pretty good, because my team got at least three free attack throughout the battle, which means a lot of extra damage. 😉
