Social Media Challenge | Fighting against a very strong ancient Summoner! 🤞
This week I brought a Brawl battle where I had to battle a really strong Summoner who is part of the ancient Untamed expansion, which means that they are quite unique and pretty useful Summoners and that is why it is very difficult to play against them. 😋

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Odd Ones Out | Only Monsters with odd Mana costs may be used in battles. |
Equalizer | The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. |
Ferocity | All units have the Fury ability. |
The mana cap was 31, which is usually not enough for me and on top of that the Odd Ones Out ruleset will eliminate all the Even mana cost monsters. Luckily this ban doesn't work on the Summoners, so me and my opponent are still be able to use our 6 mana cost Summoners. 😇
The Equalizer ruleset is not really disadvantegous, because it will increase all the Health of the monsters on the battlefield to match the highest Health monster there, so basically all the monsters will have the same Health and even the low mana cost monsters will have the same amount one.
The Ferocity ruleset will give the Fury ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, which means that they will deal double damage against a monster with the Taunt ability, so it is better not to use them at all. 😉
Possibilus the Wise

Possibilus the Wise is an excellent and powerful Summoner, because he gives a lot of abilities to my monsters. The first is to increase their Health by two and he also gives the Reach and Trample ability to them as well. This means that if I use a Melee attack monster in the second position he or she will be able to attack from there. The Trample is also amazing, because if a Melee attack monster manages to kill its target they will get a free attack against the following monster. 😆
Halfling Refugee

The Halfling Refugee is an excellent if we look at his stats only and he is very cheap, because his mana cost is only one. He has one huge weakness, which is his Weary ability, which means from the first round he would have 10% chance added together round by round to trigger this ability and when it does he will skip his turn completely. He works very well as a tank for short term, because eventually he will Stun himself in every round. 😁
Noa the Just

Noa the Just is quite cheap costing only 5 mana and compared to his mana cost he has quite a lot of Health and Armor in return, so he was the perfect choice to use him as my tank especially taking advantage of the Equalizer ruleset. He also has strong features such as his high Speed and the Rust ability, which will decrease all the enemy armors by two as long as he is alive. Luckily he is able to get three Melee attack from the Weapons Trainer next to him, so he will be able to use his Trample ability as well. 🤗
Kulu Mastermind

The Kulu Mastermind works perfectly in any team if you put a non-attack monsters next to him to take advantage of his Weapons Trainer ability, so this time he was able to give a maximum of three Melee attack to the monsters next to him. 😇
Scavo Hireling

The Scavo Hireling cost only three mana and stats wise he is not that strong, but he has one important ability, which is the Repair. That means that he will be able to restore some of the lost Armor on one of his friendly monster in every round. Similar to Heal, but only works with the Armors. On its own he doesn't have any attack, but thanks to the Kulu Mastermind and his Weapons Trainer ability he will have +3 Melee attack if it comes for him to fell into the first position. 😌
Venari Wavesmith

The Venari Wavesmith is an amazing low mana cost monster, because he cost only 5 mana and even though he has only one Magic damage he has the Protect ability to provide +2 Armor to his allies, which makes him truly a support monster. 😎
Merdaali Guardian

The Meerdali Guardian can not attack, but she has only one role and that is super important, because she has the Tank Heal ability, which means that every round she will be able to Heal the first monster in my lineup. This Heal combined with the Equalizer ruleset makes her pretty amazing and without her I might lose this battle easily. 🤗

My opponent brought the same Byzantine Kitty who is an olda Untamed Summoner and her abilities is just too powerful. She gives +2 Speed to all of her monsters and on top of that she will be able to Heal her monster in the first round in every round. She also gives the True Strike ability to her monsters, which means that they are not going to able to miss their target. 😁
Their was a lot of misses on my side of the battlefield in the first round and even my opponent monsters couldn't kill my tank, so the first round was pretty uneventful.
The high Health on all the monsters made the monsters to sustain more damage and nopthing really happened in the second round apart from the fact that my opponent Stunned my tank.
In the third round I eventually lost my tank and even though Kitty healed up their tank a bit my Kulu was able to kill him in the fourth round thanks to the Reach ability from my Summoner.
In the fifth round my Kulu shined again and killer their Hardy and got a free attack using the Trample ability from Possibilus. 😇
It was imperative not to let their Isgald to kill any of our monster, because he will increase his own stats using his Bloodlust ability and in the sixth round he finally fell into the first position and became their new tank.
It took three full rounds for my team to kill their Isgald, because he constantly received Heal from their Kitty. Luckily my Noa survived the attacks from Isgald, because my Scavo continously repaired his Armor in every round.
As soon as their Isgald died it was very easy to finish off the remaining last two monster from the enemy team and won the battle for me. 🤗
