Social Media Challenge | Double Strike's are OP as hell! π

Overview
Today I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where I got an 'infinite' mana cap, which was always been my favorite. The ruleset also an interesting one, because the attack randomness will disappear completely. The battle would be like a chess game, where you can predict the move of your opponent if you are good. π
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Equal Opportunity | All Monsters have the Opportunity ability. |
The mana cap was 98, which is absolutely beautiful, because finally I can anything I want and I would be able to use any kind of strategy. π
Their will be only the Equal Opportunity ruleset to change the playstyle, which is quite significant, because it means that all the monsters will have the Opportunity ruleset, so all the monsters on the battlefield will start to attack the lowest health monsters.
This ruleset will change the outcome of the battle easily and it will be very important where to place our monsters, because watching the amount of their health we would be able to direct where the enemy monsters will attack. π

My lineup
![]() | I picked the Eternan Brute, because he will decrease two armor from my opponent monsters and I might be able to bring an additional Gladiator monsters if I will find another one. π |
| I used the Iidri Fyre as my tank solely, because she has the Taunt ability, which means that the enemy monsters even though they have the Opportunity ability they have to attack my tank first no matter what, which would give quite a lot of Opportunity to my team to start killing their monsters. π€ | ![]() |
![]() | The Ferox Defender is an excellent off-tank for this battle. His mana cost is eight, which is expensive in a less mana cap battle, but in exchange he has quite a lot of health and armor, which will help him a lot to take as much as damage possible from the enemy team. He also has the Protect ability, which will give +2 armor to all of his friendly monsters as long as he is alive. πͺ |
| The Chaos Evoker cost seven mana, but in this battle that is quite irrevelant. She has +2 magic attack damage and more importantly the Blast damage, so whenever she makes a succesful attack against her target she will deal extra damage of the adjacent monsters of her target. She also has the Ambush ability as well, which means that before the battle would begin she will have one extra attack against an enemy monster. In this battle it will be the lowest health monster. π€ | ![]() |
![]() | The Drybone Raider cost a lot of mana, but he has two different kind of attack. One of her attack is melee and the other is ranged, so he is able to attack twice in every round, which is amazing already, but on top of that he has the Double Strike ability, which will double that amount to a total of four attacks per round, which is perfect. π |
| The Firecaller is a very special monster, because first of all she is a damage dealer and she is a very good one and also has the Martyr ability, which means if she dies she will increase all the stats of her adjacent monsters by one. π | ![]() |
![]() | Tatiana Blayde will be my key monster for this battle hence I used her at the back of my lineup. Even though she has melee attack she also has ranged attack. She is also a Gladiator monster, so whenever she manages to kill her target she would be able to increase her own stats by one until the end of the battle. πͺ |

The Battle

My opponenet brought Helios Matriarch who is a Dragon Summoner and such she is able mix her Dragon monsters with the chosen Splinter, which will be the Earth. She also gives +1 speed to all of her monsters and she will be able to bring one additional Gladiator monster into this battle.π
In the first round all of my monsters started attacking their Venari Marksrat who had the lowest health from the enemy team and they quickly killed him as well. He had the Martyr ability and that is why my opponent placed him next to their strongest monsters, because he increased all of their stat by one. Even their Fungus Flinger died quickly who fate was the same like the Marksrat and he also increased the stat of his adjacent monsters. π
This strategy is a very dangerous one for me, because buffing up Quora too much will result a sudden defeat as she will be so powerful that if she start killing my monsters no one would be able to stop her.
Luckily I had more than enough damage, so just before the first round my team managed to kill their Warborn Chieftain as well from the middle of their lineup. Sadly I also lost my Idrii in the first round, but her Taunt ability helped a lot to divert quite a lot of enemy damage. π
In the second round only two monster left in the enemy team, which is not much, but they were the strongest one. Quora and Kron costing 10 mana each and they have self Heal as well. Quora was the quickest and she quickly killed my Firecaller, which is not good, but at least she also managed to activate her Martyr ability and increase the stats of my two monsters who has the Double Strike ability. π
Their Kron was heavily damaged, but he healed himself up a bit, but he couldn't do much against the Double Strike attack on my Raider.
By the fourth round only their Quora left on the battlefield and luckily my Tatiana was quite fast and started the round before her. My Tatiana also had the Bloodlust ability as a Gladiator monster and she increased her own stats as well, so her speed was better than her counterpart and in the beginning of the round she attacked Quora four times and managed to kill her allowing for me to win this battle. π

Battle Result

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked perfectly, because I brought two monsters (Tatiana and the Raider) to take advantage of their Double Strike abilities. The Opportunity will help them a lot as well, because they would be able to use their melee attack as well from the middle of my lineup.
This worked pretty well, because my team had a huge amount of damage output and even the strongest monsters couldn't stand a chance. π
