Social Media Challenge | A nearly must have monster for one of the new ruleset! π«
This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where my and my opponent will try one of the new ruleset and ability, so it will be interesting to see who is going to utilise that better. π

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Collateral Damage | All units have the Reckless debilitation. |
The mana cap was 62, which is more than enough for my needs and basically it will allow us to use any monster in our lineup. The cost won't be matter much, but the ruleset does. π
The Collateral Damage ruleset will give the Reckless ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, which means that whenever my or my opponent monsters succesfuly hit their target they will deal one true damage (straight against their Health ignoring any Armor) to their own friendly monsters adjacent to them.
This makes setting up our lineups pretty difficult, because it requires careful placing of our monsters not to kill our own monsters in the process of killing the enemies. π
Thaddius Brood

I wanted to use a key monster very badly for this battle, so I had to choose one of my favorite Summoner from there and that is Thaddius Brood who will decrease the Magic attack and Health by one for all the enemy monsters. π
Arkemis the Bear

Arkemis the Bear is a pretty strong tank, because he has enormous amoutn of Health, which is good for a tank and on top of that he will increase the Armor on all of my monsters by two. Sadly that is not really working against the Reckless damage, but at least it will block a full Melee or Ranged attack. π
Sand Worm

My plan was to utilise the Sneak ability on my Sand Worm, whom is a very powerful Melee attack damage dealer, because he has five attack damage. Sadly my opponent brought Lily Shieldpaw, so the Camouflage ability, which he provided to his monsters made their backline unattackable. π
Silent Sha-vi

The Silent Sha-Vi is also a Sneak attack mosnter and that is why I brought him, but like I said before their Lily easil countered my plan to attack the last monster from the enemy team. Luckily he has three Melee attack damage, so my plan quickly changed to focus down their first monster in every round. π
Lira the Dark

Lira the Dark is the quickest monster on the battlefield, because she has the highest Speed amongst all the other monsters. This helped me a lot to deal critical damage on few important occasions. She is a Ranged attack monster with two damage and without the Camouflage ability on the enemy monsters she would attack the lowest Health monster using her Opportunity ability. π
Night Ghoul

The Night Ghoul has a lot of Melee attack damage, but he is super slow, which is a huge disadvantage for me. He also has the Taunt ability, so even though all the monsters has to attack him, which gave a lot of time for my backline to deal damage against the enemy tank. π
Arachne Weaver

The most important monster through the entire battle is the Arachne Weaver and that is why my opponent also brought their own as well. He has a very important ability, which will help to sustain quite a lot of damage and that Corrupted Healing. What that means is that he is able to Heal up every single friendly monster by 70% of their maximum Health, which is insane. The only drawback is that each Heal will cost one maximum Health for the recipient. π

My opponent brought Lilly Shieldpaw who is a Dragon Summoner and he is quite a powerful one, because he has three abilities. The first is to give +1 Health to all of his monsters and the second is that he will give the Camouflage ability to them as well, so my monsters won't be able to attack their backline. His most important ability is his Triage, which will heal one of their backline monster once in every round. π
My Lira the Dark started the battle and quickly attacked the enemy tank, which was their Chaos Dragon and two of my monsters next to her also took one damage and that twist is crazy.
In the first round not much happened apart from the fact that both of our sides took quite a lot of direct and indirect damage, but the Arachne Weaver helped quite a lot to mitigate that damage, by healing them up and taking one maximum Health away from them.
The only good thing was that their Chaos Dragon was heavily damaged, because my team can not attack anyone elso only that. π€
Therefore in the beginning of the second round my Lira easily finished off their tank and their new tank was the Night Reaper.
Both of our Arachne Weaver's saved the day once again in the second round, but the Undead Archer had only one maximum Health left, so when their Weaver attacked he killed him with his indirect Reckless damage. π
In the third round my Silent Sha-vi managed to kill their Night Reaper and by the end of the round only three enemy monsters left on the battlefield.
In the fourth round my Lira was quickest again and killed their badly damaged Raider, but she also killed my Silent Sha-vi who had only one Health left. π
None of the other monsters died at the end of this round, but the fifth will be lethal for, because I have lost one monster, but the rest of my team managed to kill their remaining two monsters allowing me to win this crazy battle. π
