Overview

The new Weekly ruleset Challenge is an amazing twist that I am enjoying so far and I hope there will be twists like that in the future to keep this Challenge's fresh. 😁

This week the ruleset is the Little League, which means that only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.

• Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset.
• Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health.
• Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage.
• Using Mylor as summoner in this ruleset helps a lot.

The upcoming Battle ruleset

Ruleset	Description
Little League	Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.
Silenced Summoners	Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.

The following battle had a 36 mana cap, which is quite a lot for a Little League ruleset, because we can only use a total of 28 mana cost of monsters and summoner. This allows us to use anything we want and on top of that all the Splinters were available for this fight.

There was a huge disadvantage in this fight, because it doesn't matter, which Summoner me and my opponent would choose as they were silenced and they doesn't provide any of their abilities.

I decided to pick up the Earth Splinter with an almost full magic team, because I wanted to kill their low health monsters without continuously hitting their armor. 😊

My lineup

	The Obsidian is my favorite summoner in the Earth Splinter, because she gives +1 magic attack damage to all of her friendly monsters. The magic attack is the strongest type of attack in this game, because it will ignore the enemy armor completely. Sadly in the Silenced Summoners ruleset I could not use this amazing ability, but at least I will use her magic attack monsters. 😉
The Xenith Monk is my main tank for this battle, because he has 6 health, which is rare for only 4 mana and he receives +2 armor from his backline support monster. Sadly I didn't rent him out on level 2 where he would get a self Heal ability. I have quickly solved that problem and acquired 5 of him and I leveled him up to level 2, so next time I wouldn't have this problem again! 😇
	The Wood Nymph is a low budget healer, so I am able to use her in the Little League ruleset and she is a very good addition in any low level battles. Her main ability is Tank Heal, which is perfect to support the tank in the first position. 😊
Queen Mycelia is a four mana cost monster who has the Protect ability, which will provide +2 armor to all of her friendly monsters, so if my opponent would bring mostly melee and ranged attack monsters this ability will make a huge difference. Her Amplify ability on her will buff all the reflect abilities in my team, but only if I would have any in my team. 😁
	I used the Elven Mystic simply because he has magic attack and cost only four mana. Unfortunately he doesn't have any other ability and his speed is quite low as well, but hopefully the combined damage of my team will be enough. 😏
The Magi of the Forest is my main damage dealer, because he has a whooping damage of 3, which is more than enough to deal some killing blows from the enemy team. Sadly his speed is low as well, but that is the price I had to pay for his huge damage. 🤗
	Doctor Blight is the second monster with the biggest damage in my team, but only if he triggers his Poison ability, which will be 50% with each hit he makes. The Affliction ability wil switch off the enemy heal on his target if he triggers it, which has the same 50% chance per hit. The Camouflage ability will hide him from the enemy Snipers and Sneakers as long as I have another monster on the battlefield. 😉

The Battle

My opponent brought a Life Splinter for this battle with a mixed magic and ranged monsters. Let's see that my extra armor will be enough against them.

He brought a very quick team and he also used a Time Mage who has the Slow ability and even further decreased my already low speed by one! 😛

The result of that that all of his monsters attacked quicker than mine, so my Xenith Monk couldn't stand in my first position long enough to get some heal from my Wood Nymph.

The Blinding Reflector was my second big problem, because he had the Magic Reflect ability, which will made some damage back to my monsters when we attacked him. Luckily none of them died, but they took some serious damage. 😕

The second round was catastrophic, because my opponent monsters being much quicker they have killed four of my monsters in a row and only my Doctor Blight left on the battlefield whom didn't last long as well. 😞

Battle Result

Unfortunately I lost this battle, because my opponent managed to counter my team completely with his Magic Reflect and huge speed differences. At least I have upgraded my Xenith Monk as the result of that and I will try to bring a mixed team as well. If I were allowed to use the power of the Obsidian my team would have a much better result.

I do not really like the Little League ruleset, because it is too much of a restriction what we can bring and those monsters under 4 mana is quite weak to assemble a good strategy out of them. 😎
