Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another Social Media Challenge! It has been a while since the Soulbound reward cards have been allowed to be unlocked at a cost of DEC. There are several legendary cards in this set. Let's check out which are the ones that should be considered a "must have" to add to our decks.

The Legendary Reward Cards

Above are the complete legendary soulbound reward cards from the Chaos Legion set. I have some of them but missing three. I have been using some of these and some not so much. For the three cards I don't have I would probably need one of them in my deck but the other two are not essential. From my experience on playing with these, here are the ones that I use the most and should be considered to buy from the market.

Iziar

This is the best card in this set in my opinion and synergizes well with other cards in the Light Splinter. Iziar works well with Djinn Renova which has Triage. I use this card in high mana battles with Adelaide Brightwing and Uriel the Purifier. With Void and high health, I also use this in magic only rulesets.

Drybone Raider

Drybone Raider is a versatile card that can be used in several rulesets. It deals decent melee and ranged damage so it can be used in Ranged only and Close Range rulesets where it can also deal melee damage. It's very strong in rulesets like Equal Opportunity where it can hit four times since it has the Double Strike ability. Being a Neutral card, I also use this in Shades of Grey ruleset.

Aves Sturgis

Aves Sturgis is one I wish I have and now I'm considering to buy it. It deals 2 magic damage and has the Weapons Training ability. The Light Splinter has some good cards with no attack like the Pelacor Conjurer that can suddenly be a damage dealer when paired with Aves Sturgis.

Kulu Mastermind

Kulu Mastermind is like the Deeplurker. It deals high melee damage with the Opportunity ability. However, Kulu Mastermind has the Weapons Training ability which makes him a lot better. The Water Splinter has the best support units with no attack like the Merdaali Guardian and Baakjira. Paired with Kulu Mastermind, these card will now have 4 melee damage while buffing the team.

Conclusion

The above cards are a "must have" in my opinion if you want to power up your deck. The other legendary cards are also good but only nice to have but are not really that game changing in my opinion. Check out the market place where they can be bought for a reasonable price.
