Hello Splinterlands Summoners. It's the end of another season once again.
This season, I reached Diamond II for the first time. I was able to increase my SPS stake to 5,600 and bought some legendary chests. We also concluded another guild brawl and I bought some Gladius cases to add to my collection.

End of Season Rewards

I earned over 140,000 Glints at the end of season and I purchased four legendary chests with it. My common, rare and epic cards are already at the levels I wanted them to be and now I'm building my legendary card collection. These are the cards I got from legendary chests.

I got my fourth copy of Syrenth and second copies of Gallicus and Warborn Chieftain. I have one new card in Endless Gibbon, a one mana card that has the Reach ability. I'm pretty sure he will be useful in low mana battles. The other legendary cards Gallicus and Warborn Chieftain have been rarely used so far because I can't find slots for them in battle. Syrenth on the other hand is useful since I use cards with Taunt abilities a lot.

I'd be happy if I can level them up to three. All of them except for Syrenth (level two) is only at level one at the moment.

Guild Brawl

Our guild finished in sixth place last brawl scoring 255 points with 85 wins and 104 losses.

I contributed five wins out of nine battles. Each of use earned 4,900 Merits and 57 SPS.

I have over 9,000 merits which I used to buy four Gladius cases. Each Gladius case contain five cards with one guaranteed rare or higher. I have been pulling legendary cards lately so now maybe I will not be as lucky.

I got twenty cards added to my collection including one Quora who is one of my favorite Gladiator cards. One more copy and I'll be able to level her up to three.

I was able to upgrade Orella Abadon to level three, adding one melee attack to his stats. For only two mana, he is very strong and one card I would often use in battle.

Featured Battle

Today's featured battle is similar to my Community Engagement Challenge Synergy post. I built a team with a strong tank, Uriel. In second position is my off tank, Night Reaper, in third is my unit with Triage ability, Djinn Renova. In fourth position is Adelaide Brightwing who repairs Uriel's armor. In fifth and sixth position are two units with Taunt ability.

My opponent's team is strong as well featuring the Rage Dragon granting magic damage to two adjacent units with no attack. His tank is a unit with Taunt and Armored Strike abilities who is also supported by Adelaide Brightwing with Repair abiltiy. In last position, he has Djinn Chwala to anticipate any Sneak attackers which I didn't have.

The battle was fun to watch with Uriel and Nightreaper doing damage to the enemy frontline and flyers while my opponent's Djinn Chwala and Helmet Kharafax was decimating my backline. Eventually his Djinn Chwala was alone against three of my units and soon the battle was won.
