Our Guild Brawl Performance and Featured Battles

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome to my blog! Our guild just finished anohther brawl. In today's post, I will show our ranking, performance and featured battles.

Guild Ranking and Performance

We ranked near the bottom of the standings as seventh place. It's not our best performance as a guild, giving away eighty seven battles while winning one hundred and two. We still earned one hundred three crowns which we can use to improve our buildings.

My own contribution was great. I won seven battles and losing only two for twenty one points. Each of us who joined the brawl earned around 5.4k merits and 57 SPS. It's decent enough though lower than our previous earnings. I decided to not buy Gladius cases today and will just save the Merits I earned if and when brawls gets updated.

Featured Battles

Dragon vs Dragon

In the following battle, the enemy and my team both had a Dragon archon. I had Kavor Skarn and the enemy had the legendary Akane. It was an interesting battle for me because I didn't had Quora on the team but went on a different team build and combos. I chose the Fire splinter with Dragon and my team was composed of the following cards:

Drybone Megalodon

Drybone Megalodon was my tank. It's an offensive tank that deals four melee damage and has three speed. It has decent defense of three armor and seven health. It had the Retaliate ability to add to its offense and Flank ability to enable another melee tank to play in second position.

Grove Doomblade

I couldn't play the Molten Elemental in this battle so I had Grove Doomblade in second position instead. She's also a melee unit that deals a lot of damage. She can actually be placed in any position since she has the Sneak ability.

Night Reaper

Night Reaper is a regular unit whenever I choose to play the Dragon splinter. It deals three magic damage and has four speed. It has enough defense to play as an alternative tank. It has Flying and Wingbreak abilities that make it a key card in Earthquake rulesets.

Dragon Egg Forager

Dragon Egg Forager deals two melee damage. It has the Scavenger that enables it to accumulate health as units from both camps get defeated. It also has the Opportunity ability that makes it a great combo for my Gladiator card.

Fina Voxom

Fina Voxom is the pride of my collection. She's a legendary gold foil legendary card. She deals four melee damage, has seven health and four speed. Her abilities complement her high melee attack and make her a great damage dealer. She has Opportunity ability that allows her to target the enemy unit with lowest health. This ability made me choose to use Dragon Egg Forager to combo with her. She also has Piercing that allows excess damage to go through the enemy's armor. She also has Bloodlust that increases her stats the more she defeats each enemy unit.

Chaos Evoker

Chaos Evoker is an under rated card. It's a common card that has the Blast, a feared ability for its splash damage to the adjacent card. This ability was once exclusive the the legendary archon, Yodin Zaku. It's hard to imagine that a common card will possess it.

The enemy team had Akane as archon. It's a legendary tactics archon that grants Ambush to two units or Lookout to one unit. At tank, he had Ulundin Overseer, a no attack unit but has beefy defense. It also has the Flank ability that allowed Quora to play in second position and use her melee attack. She's one of the strongest Gladiator cards and equal or even better than legendary cards. She deals two magic and melee damage, has a lot of health and can heal. This makes her a powerful tank on her own. The other units in his team are supplementary attackers and support units. It's also notable that he has a Night Reaper of his own in the team.

The enemy had the lead in early rounds as his Night Reaper defeated mine. However, Fina was able to eliminate several enemy units and triggered her Bloodlust multiple times. Soon she was able to defeat enemies in one hit. She even defeated the enemy's Quora and won the battle.
