Heloise the Hollow is not only a powerful card; she is also a character with a tragic background. In her story, she led the Dawnbringers in a fight against Chaos, but when her efforts seemed futile, she decided to absorb the energy of her followers to gain the necessary strength. This sacrifice transformed her into a feared and respected figure, and a living legend on the battlefield. In terms of gameplay, she is a high-impact card, with abilities that remain operational even after falling in combat, creating strategic opportunities.

Heloise the Hollow's Powers*

Heloise is not only strong, but has unique abilities:

• Spite: An ability that allows her to counterattack when defeated, increasing her destructive impact and ensuring that the loss of this card also means heavy damage to the opponent.

• Soul Siphon: Each time Heloise is defeated, she revives with 50% health and 100% armor if there is an ally not weakened. In addition, she inflicts a Weary mark on the ally with the most health, reducing their maximum health. This cycle gives her an exceptional role in engagements, remaining active and dangerous beyond the initial attacks.

Auction Exclusivity and Competition

The auction house has a strict limit: there will only be 100 copies of Heloise at her maximum level, which adds a sense of urgency. Each auction will last 25 hours, and at the end, the player with the highest bid will be the one to get the card. Once the last copy is sold, there will be no replenishment; acquiring Heloise later will depend on convincing other players to trade or sell theirs, which will increase the competition.

Gold Foil Special Edition Auctions

As an additional detail, Splinterlands will introduce Gold Foil versions of Heloise at special intervals: every 20 cards auctioned, one will be gold, for a total of five Gold Foil copies. These collector versions add even more exclusivity and value, creating extra competition between players looking for the rarest and most valuable in the game.

Auction Dynamics: Simple and Competitive

The auction house system is designed to make each auction clear and competitive:

• No extensions: When the clock reaches zero, the winner is decided at that moment with no postponements.

• Minimum bid and increases: The auction starts at a minimum of 10,000 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) or credits, and each bid must be at least 10,000 DEC higher than the previous one. The player can use predetermined increments or specify a higher amount.

• Full transparency: The interface shows who has the highest bid and a list of all bids made, allowing players to study bidding patterns and rival tactics.
