Stylized digital portrait

Hi everyone, it's the weekend and I had some time to paint after sleeping a lot. It's also a painting in my favorite color which is red. I actually started from a watercolor base before transforming it to what we have now.

Here is the watercolor base which gave me an idea of what I was going to do.

I proceeded to paint over sections in the sketchbook pro app.

Then I began to add some highlights on a new layer set to blend mode of 'glow'

I also had this idea to add a cast shadow and set a new layer to multiply to add more volume and also added some interesting shadows to the face

I then blended out the dress some more and added some extra lines on it and jewelry like which you can see in the final piece
