The awakening of the ancients, the great army
Things start to get complicated when we find ourselves at our Inquisition base camp, where a strange army is attacking us. We must prepare for this new army and the evil that is plaguing us: new enemies, supernatural creatures with strange gems embedded in their bodies, and a power we have never seen before.
So a world of mysteries and a new evil threatens us, and we will get to work to find a way to survive this attack.
We had headed to the entrance of the base camp, where everyone was gathered. Cullen mentioned that strange, never-before-seen creatures called themselves the Ancients, something far more significant than what happened with the Darkspawn during the Ruin.
As we opened the door, a man named Dorian Pavus appeared out of nowhere using teleportation magic. He brought us a message: some rebel mage factions were unleashing a new evil that had been hidden for many years.
From afar, the wizard tells us that two incredibly powerful beings are present. One is a sorceress named Calpernia, leader of the Venatori race. Her companion is a being known as the Ancient One, whose entire body is covered in crystals. It could be said that he is the Red Lily, having shed his human form to acquire this immense power.
Knowing that this is an invasion, all the soldiers draw their weapons to defeat this new evil that threatens them.
We all began facing the new enemies, who were extremely resilient. There were also many mages who tried to hold us back, but we all fought side by side to defeat all the enemies that approached us.
So we had a strategy, which consisted of collapsing a large part of the mountains to prevent the enemies from reaching the camp.
We needed to protect the rock launchers at all costs, as they're essential for clearing the snow between the mountains. Many enemies were heading our way, so we fought back with all our might, killing everyone who attacked us. We did everything we could to protect the catapults.
The enemies destroyed two of the catapults, and we had to move quickly to execute our plan.
Using the great catapult, the rock struck a section of the mountains, where snow immediately fell upon the large army advancing toward us, giving us the advantage in this battle. All the enemies were buried under the snow, and the ancient one destroyed the catapult with a fireball he hurled at us from afar.
Let's hope we were able to do something against this great army that was coming toward us.
