Blood magic and the red lily with the Templars
Things are becoming far more complicated than I anticipated. My investigations have led to the collapse of the remaining Templars, who still stand strong and resilient against the manipulations of the Red Lily and the demons of the Veil Breach. Many Templars, including their leaders, have been manipulated by this power, transforming them into abominations intent on world domination.
Fortunately, my team and I are here to keep these demons at bay and banish the demon of envy from Templar territory once and for all. Ultimately, I must decide whether to allow the Templars, despite all their failings, to join the Inquisition or not.
And here we all were, after battling in my mind against the demon of envy's attempt at domination. We found ourselves in the great audience hall of the Templars, where the demon of envy had been released. He made his way to the great meditation hall and hall of the Templars' sacred pacts, where he created an impenetrable field of strength that not even the magic of mages could break. Only Templars of pure and incorruptible blood could dismantle it.
Only a few worthy Templars remain, as the rest are terrified by this unleashed evil. The most loyal Templars are scattered throughout the castle, where one of our informants tells us that they are alone, facing many demons, and that we must rescue them as quickly as possible, while the others confront the demons entering the castle.
Captain Barris was giving orders to the rest of the Templars while we searched for the other captains. They would defend the center of the castle with their lives, so I had to hurry to rescue those who were alone facing the demons.
The rest of the Templar soldiers were almost ready for battle. The battlefield was nearly in ruins, and the archers and knights were preparing for the defense.
The force field at the entrance to the Templars' Hall of Light was incredibly strong. Demonic magic is far more powerful than we imagined, and only the purest beings possess the power to break it.
From outside the castle, we could hear the screams of warriors fighting and dying against the demons. The corrupted Templars were transforming into powerful abominations. We thought the Templars wouldn't be able to lose their sanity against the demons, but in reality, they were far too easy a target to possess. So my soldiers and I had to kill them all. We wondered about the reason for these transformations, though, since the crystal of the red lily was spreading from their bodies, thus explaining the large quantity of lily found in this castle.
The strangest thing about these Templars, for us, was that the corrupted ones had strange markings on their bodies. It was as if they had mixed blood magic with the power of the red lyre to obtain this power they possessed, though they weren't very resistant to us thanks to our teamwork.
But upon arriving at the audience chamber of the leader of all the Templars, all our questions were answered, along with some letters that were there. We realized that the leader of all the Templars was manipulating the red lyre with blood magic to acquire more power than they already had and thus confront the mages and demons, using the most dangerous magic in the world. His ambition for power led to his own destruction, so it would be best to keep an eye on them after these problems subside.
