On Splinterlands the season 130 is underway, which is the first season in which the new Ranked System was introduced.
Before the release of the Rebellion set I played regularly in the Gold leagues of the Modern Format and sometimes I was also able to finish the season in the Diamond III - Diamond II leagues.

Immediately after the exit of the Untamed cards from the Modern Format set and with the entry of the Rebellion set I dropped down into the Silver leagues of the Modern format and until now I had never been able to return to the Gold leagues even though I often came very close during the last day of the previous four seasons.

Today I am happy because for the first time after 4 seasons entirely played in the Silver leagues I entered the Gold III league!

In fact, the last battle I played today allowed me to arrive at a rating = 1910 which is a score above the threshold for entry into the Gold III league which is = 1900 rating points.

Entering the Gold III league when there are still 6 days and 18 hours to go before the end of the season is an achievement that makes me optimistic about achieving the my short-term gaming goal that I have been chasing for the past two months: being able to play stably at least in the Modern Format Gold leagues from the beginning to the end of the season.

In order to achieve my gaming goal, I must try to finish the current season in Gold I league because only in this way will I be able to start in the following season in Gold III leagues.

In the current season, I started from the Silver III league and to arrive in the Gold III league, I have played 205 battles in which I achieved 109 wins.

My playthrough this season shows that in the new ranked system it is possible to advance in leagues even with a win rate of just over 50% and in fact my win rate is 53.17%.

Even with a win rate of 50% it is possible to increase the rating score because in the case where you get several consecutive wins starting from the third consecutive win the gain in rating points per win is not +20 but +40.

Today I could have a higher rating score but I continue to lose some battles due to time expiration because I always multitask even when playing Splinterlands and this is a flaw of mine that I should correct if I want to get better game results.

The improvement in my game results is the positive effect of the new Ranked System and especially the removal of the card level league caps.

Today I also decided to convert some of my Gladiator Gold Foil cards into DEC tokens.
I made this decision because by reading @gadrian's post I found out that in the future Gladiator cards could be converted only to Merits and no longer to DEC tokens.

I would rather have an amount of DEC on hand to reinvest today in buying/upgrading useful cards in battle instead of merits in the future.

From the conversion of my Gladiator Gold cards to DEC, I obtained 9500 DEC.

Today I also continued my activity of improving the battle strength of my card collection usable in Modern Format.

While I'm waiting for my BID purchase offer of 5 BCX of Possibilus the Wise to be completed to bring the maximum level summoners available to me from 6 to 7, and while I'm also waiting for my BID purchase offer of 4 BCX of Djinn Murat to be completed, today I made upgrades to some of my Chaos Legion set cards.

The first upgrade I made today was Vampiric Blossom: level 4 -> level 8

I made this upgrade for two reasons:

• it was a cheap upgrade for me because the price per BCX of Vanpiric Blossom is relatively low: $0.025 per BCX.
• I added to my collection a card with the Immunity ability which is a particularly useful ability in battles that have the Noxious Fumess ruleset and by the way there are only 13 cards that have the immunity ability usable in the modern format.

To make this upgrade I purchased 85 BCX and spent 2222.89 DEC = $2.21 (- cashback 53.34 DEC)

The second and final upgrade I made today was Disintegrator: level 8 -> level 10

I often use Disintegrator in battles that have the ruleset Up Close & Personal.

To make this upgrade I purchased 180 BCX and spent 3414.01 DEC = $3.38 (-cashback 81.93 DEC)

Thanks to these last two upgrades I made today, I added two more top-level cards to my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format.

I now have:

• 6 maximum level summoners
• 77 maximum level monster cards

I will end this post by showing the Events section of the Splinterlands site which contains over 70 FREE ENTRY tournaments.

I will try to play many of these tournaments by selecting those in which I have a good chance of finishing in the prize positions.

Il mio ritorno nelle Leghe Gold del Formato Moderno + Il Burn delle mie Carte Gladiatore + I miei ultimi upgrade delle carte mostro

Su Splinterlands è in corso la stagione 130 che è la prima stagione in cui è stato introdotto il nuovo Ranked System.
Prima del rilascio del set Rebellion giocavo stabilmente nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format e qualche volta riuscivo anche a terminare la stagione nelle leghe Diamond III - Diamond II.

Subito dopo la fuoriuscita del set Untamed dal Modern Format e con l'ingresso del set Rebellion sono sceso nelle leghe Silver del Modern format e fino ad oggi non ero mai riuscito a raggiungere le leghe Gold anche se ci sono andato spesso molto vicino durante l'ultimo giorno delle quatrro stagioni precedenti.

Oggi sono contento perchè per la prima volta dopo 4 stagioni interamente giocate nelle leghe Silver sono entrato nella lega Gold III!

Infatti l'ultima battaglia che ho giocato oggi mi ha permesso di arrivare ad un punteggio di rating = 1910 che è un punteggio superiore alla soglia di ingresso nella lega Gold III che è = 1900 punti di rating.

Entrare nella lega Gold III quando mancano ancora 6 giorni e 18 ore alla fine della stagione è un risultato che mi fa essere ottimista sul raggiungimento del mio obiettivo di gioco di breve termine che inseguo da due mesi: riuscire a giocare stabilmente almeno nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format dall'inizio alla fine della stagione.

Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di gioco devo cercare di terminare la stagione in corso in lega Gold I perchè solo in questo modo potrò ripartire nella stagione successiva in lega Gold III.

Nella stagione in corso sono partito dalla lega Silver III e per arrivare in lega Gold III ho giocato 205 battaglie in cui ho ottenuto 109 vittorie.

Il mio percorso di gioco in questa stagione dimostra che nel nuovo ranked system è possibile avanzare nelle leghe anche con un win rate di poco superiore al 50% e infatti il mio win rate è del 53.17%.

Anche con un win rate del 50% è possibile aumentare il punteggio di rating perchè nel caso in cui si ottengono più vittorie consecutive a partire dalla terza vittoria consecutiva il guadagno in punti di rating per vittoria non è +20 ma +40.

Oggi potevo avere un punteggio di rating maggiore ma continuo a perdere alcune battaglie per scadenza del tempo perchè faccio sempre più attività contemporaneamente anche quando gioco a Splinterlands e questo è un mio difetto che dovrei correggere se voglio ottenere risultati di gioco migliori.

Il miglioramento dei miei risultati di gioco è l'effetto positivo del nuovo Ranked System e soprattutto della rimozione del card level league caps.

Oggi ho anche deciso di convertire alcune mie carte Gladiator Gold Foil in token DEC.
Ho preso questa decisione perchè leggendo il post di @gadrian ho scoperto che in futuro le carte Gladiator potrebbero essere convertite solo in Merits e non più in token DEC.

Preferisco avere a disposizione un quantitativo di DEC da reinvestire oggi nell'acquisto/upgrade di carte utili in battaglia invece di merits in futuro.

Dalla conversione delle mie carte Gladiator Gold in DEC ho ottenuto 9500 DEC.

Oggi ho anche continuato la mia attività di miglioramento della forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format.

Mentre aspetto che venga completata la mia offerta di acquisto BID di 5 BCX di Possibilus the Wise per portare da 6 a 7 gli evocatori di massimo livello a mia disposizione e mentre aspetto che venga completata anche la mia offerta di acquisto di 4 BCX di Djinn Murat, oggi ho fatto degli upgrades di alcune mie carte del set Chaos Legion.

Il primo upgrade che ho fatto oggi è stato Vampiric Blossom: level 4 -> level 8

Ho fatto questo upgrade per due motivi:

• è stato un upgrade per me economico perchè il prezzo per BCX di Vanpiric Blossom è relativamente basso: 0.025$ per BCX.
• ho aggiunto alla mia collezione una carta con l'abilità Immunity che è un'abilità particolarmente utile nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Noxious Fumess e tra l'altro ci sono solo 13 carte che hanno l'abilità immunity utilizzabili nel modern format.

• 77 carte mostro di livello massimo

Io cercherò di giocare molti di questi tornei selezionando quelli in cui ho buone chances di arrivare nelle posizioni premiate.
