In blockchain-based games, the player always plays two roles:

• player
• investor

I am a Splinterlands player since September 2019 and to date I have played 32245 battles:

• 25556 battles in the Modern Format
• 6689 battles in the Wild Format

Out of curiosity, I divided the total number of battles by the days since September 2019 and got the result 19.36.

This means that from September 2019 to now I have played an average of 19.36 battles per day and Splinterlands has been a constant playful and fun time for me that has accompanied me for a period of almost 5 years.

After a long time since my first game battle I enjoy playing Splinterlands battles but only in the Modern Format where there are no bots and battle helpers!

I like the financial aspects of blockchain-based games but on Splinterlands my role is and has always and primarily been that of the player and that is why I have always and continuously optimized my card collection trying to adapt to the various changes that have occurred over the years on Splinterlands.

The activity of optimizing my card collection consists of:

• selling the cards I don't use in battle.
• buying the cards I like and upgrading the cards I use in battle.

The introduction of the new Ranked System has simplified the game dynamics and also changed my strategy of buying/upgrading and selling cards.

In fact in the new Ranked System having maximum level summoners and maximum level cards is much more important than in the old Ranked System because there is no longer the card level league caps that disincentivized a player playing in the lower leagues to upgrade their cards.

I have played most of my battles in Gold leagues and until the introduction of the new ranked system I used to choose the cards to buy based on the stats and abilities that could be used in Gold leagues and for this reason it was useless for me to upgrade a legendary summoner to the maximum level and I always stopped at upgrading to level 3.

In fact except for Daria Dragonscale all my summoners of the Beta and Untamed sets are below the maximum level.

Now in the new ranked system things have changed and in my previous posts I have repeatedly shared my goals for buying and upgrading usable summoners in the Modern Format.

One day ago I shared in a post the achievement of an important upgrade goal of mine: Akane level 4 (max level)

Thanks to my latest upgrade I now have 7 max level summoners in my collection.

I would also like to upgrade the Soulbound summoners to the highest level because I also play regularly in the Brawls and have many strong cards of the Gladius element but unfortunately the Soulbound cards are not purchasable so I hope to achieve this goal in the future if luck will be my friend.

Over the past few days I have made progress toward two other upgrade goals related to summoner type cards:

• General Sloan: level 6 -> level 8.
• Possibilus the Wise: level 3 -> level 4

I am only 5 BCX missing for General Sloan and only 2 BCX for Possibilus the Wise and for both of these two cards my purchase offers are the best on the market.

Possibilus the Wise in addition to being an upgrade target of mine also provides a good example of the difference between having a top level summoner and a lower level summoner in the new Ranked System.

For example with my Possibilus The Wise of level 3 in a battle with the Rulesets Stampedeand Up Close and Personal I could use a combination of monster cards like the one you can see in the following image.

The problem for me is that all the monster cards I showed you in the previous formation I have at a higher level and with Possibilus The Wise at level 3 I cannot use their full potential.

The same cards would be much stronger and much more likely to win a battle if I had Possibilus The Wise of level 4

If I will be able to add level 4 Possibilus The Wise and level 8 General Sloan to my collection, I can get back to focusing on upgrading monster cards.

To purchase 10 BCX of Akane I spent most of my liquidity in DEC tokens.

I have enough liquidity in DEC to complete my last two BID purchase bids but in order to continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection I need to sell cards that I do not use in battle because they belong to sets that cannot be used in the modern format or because I have cards with similar or stronger battle stats.

For this reason I have decided to put up for sale:

• Delwyn Dragonscale of level 9 because it is not usable in Modern Format
• Lorna Shine of level 7 because she is not usable in Modern Format
• Nalara Geinek Gold Foil
• several cards from the Beta and Untamed sets.

If you are interested in the cards I have put up for sale I am also available to do private transactions but only if they are not far from the lowest price for BCX on the market.

I have put 165 cards for sale and if I can sell them all I will have $340 to reinvest in buying/upgrading cards that can be used in the Modern Format.

I will end this post by sharing my partial game results in the current season, a season that will end in 10 days.

My season playing goal is to finish the season at least in Gold I league because if I finish the season at least in Gold I league I can start again in the following season from Gold leagues and not Silver I league.

220 rating points separate me from my game goal.

My win rate is definitely better than the win rate I had in the last season played with the old ranked system.

In conclusion I will show you two recent battles I won using my last upgrade goal achieved: Akane's maximum level .

L'ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte e la mia strada verso la lega Gold I

Nei giochi basati su blockchain il giocatore riveste sempre due ruoli:

• giocatore
• investitore

Sono un giocatore di Splinterlands da settembre 2019 e fino ad oggi ho giocato 32245 battaglie:

• 25556 battaglie nel Modern Format
• 6689 battaglie nel Wild Format

Per curiosità ho diviso il numero totale di battaglie per i giorni trascorsi da settembre 2019 e ho ottenuto il risultato 19.36.

Questo vuol dire che da settembre 2019 ad oggi ho giocato in media 19.36 battaglie al giorno e Splinterlands è stato per me un momento ludico e di divertimento costante che mi ha accompagnato per un periodo di quasi 5 anni.

Dopo tanto tempo dalla mia prima battaglia di gioco mi diverto a giocare le battaglie di Splinterlands ma solo nel Modern Format dove non ci sono bot e battle helpers!

Mi piacciono gli aspetti finanziari dei giochi basati su blockchain ma su Splinterlands il mio ruolo è ed è stato sempre e principalmente quello del giocatore ed è per questo motivo che ho sempre e continuamente ottimizzato la mia collezione di carte cercando di adattarmi ai vari cambiementi avvenuti in questi anni su Splinterlands.

L'attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte consiste nel:

• vendere le carte che non uso in battaglia
• acquistare le carte che mi piacciono e fare l'upgrade delle carte che utilizzo in battaglia

L'introduzione del nuovo Ranked System ha semplificato le dinamiche di gioco e ha modificato anche la mia strategia di acquisto/upgrade e vendita delle carte.

Infatti nel nuovo Ranked System avere evocatori di livello massimo e carte di livello massimo è molto più importante che nel vecchio Ranked System perchè perchè non c'è più il card level league caps che disincentivava un giocatore che giocava nelle leghe inferiori ad aumentare il livello delle proprie carte.

Io che ho giocato il maggior numero delle mie battaglie nelle leghe Gold e fino all'introduzione del nuovo ranked system sceglievo le carte da acquistare in base alle statistiche e alle abilità utilizzabili nelle leghe Gold e per questo motivo era inutile per me fare l'upgrade di un evocatore leggendario al massimo livello e mi fermavo sempre all'upgrade al livello 3.

Infatti tranne Daria Dragonscale tutti i miei evocatori dei set Beta e Untamed hanno un livello inferiore al massimo livello.

Ora nel nuovo ranked system le cose sono cambiate e nei miei precedenti post ho più volte condiviso i miei obiettivi di acquisto e di upgrade degli evocatori utilizzabili nel Modern Format.

Un giorno fa ho condiviso in un post il raggiungimento di un importante mio obiettivo di upgrade: Akane di livello 4 (max level)

Grazie al mio ultimo upgrade adesso ho 7 evocatori di livello massimo nella mia collezione.

Mi piacerebbe anche portare al massimo livello gli evocatori Soulbound perchè gioco regolarmente anche nelle Brawls e ho molte carte forti dell'elemento Gladius ma purtroppo le carte Soulbound non sono acquistabili e quindi spero di raggiungere questo obiettivo in futuro se la fortuna mi sarà amica.

Negli ultimi giorni ho fatto progressi verso altri due obiettivi di upgrade relativi alle carte di tipo evocatore:

• General Sloan: livello 6 -> livello 8
• Possibilus the Wise: livello 3 -> livello 4

Mi mancano solo 5 BCX per General Sloan e solo 2 BCX per Possibilus the Wise e per entrambe queste due carte le mie offerte di acquisto sono le migliori sul mercato.

Possibilus the Wise oltre ad esssere un mio obiettivo di upgrade fornisce anche un valido esempio della differenza tra avere un evocatore di massimo livello e un evocatore di livello inferiore nel nuovo Ranked System.

Ad esempio con il mio Possibilus The Wise di livello 3 in una battaglia con le Ruleset Stampede e Up Close e Personal potrei utilizzare una combinazione di carte mostro come quella che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.

Il problema per me è che tutte le carte mostro che ti ho mostrato nella formazione precedente le ho ad un livello più alto e con Possibilus The Wise di livello 3 non posso utilizzare tutto il loro potenziale.

Le stesse carte avrebbero molta più forza e molta più probabilità di vincere una battaglia se avessi Possibilus The Wise di livello 4

Se riuscirò ad aggiungere alla mia collezione Possibilus The Wise di livello 4 e General Sloan di livello 8 potrò tornare a focalizzarmi sull'upgrade delle carte mostro.

Ho la liquidità in DEC sufficiente per completare le mie due ultime offerte di acquisto BID ma per continuare ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte devo vendere delle carte che non uso in battaglia perchè appartengono a set non utilizzabili nel modern format o perchè ho carte con statistiche simili o più forti in battaglia.

Per questo motivo ho deciso di mettere in vendita:

• Delwyn Dragonscale di livello 9 perchè non utilizzabile nel Modern Format
• Lorna Shine di livello 7 perchè non utilizzabile nel Modern Format
• Nalara Geinek Gold Foil
• diverse carte dei set Beta e Untamed

Se sei interessato alle carte che ho messo in vendita sono disponibile anche a fare transazioni private ma solo se non sono molto lontane dal prezzo più basso per BCX presente sul mercato.

Ho messo 165 carte in vendita e se riuscirò a venderle tutte avrò 340$ da reinvestire nell'acquisto/upgrade di carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format.

Concludo questo post condividendo i miei risultati di gioco parziali nella stagione in corso, stagione che terminerà tra 10 giorni.

Il mio obiettivo di gioco stagionale è terminare la stagione almeno in lega Gold I perchè se terminerò la stagione almeno in lega Gold I potrò ripartire nella stagione successiva dalle leghe Gold e non dalla lega Silver I.

220 punti di rating mi separano dal mio obiettivo di gioco.

Il mio win rate è decisamente migliore del win rate che avevo nell'ultima stagione giocata con il vecchio ranked system.

In conclusione ti mostro due battaglie recenti che ho vinto utilizzando il mio ultimo obiettivo di upgrade raggiunto: Akane di livello massimo .
