Those who regularly read my Hive blog know very well **my passion for blockchain based games and in particular for Hive games.

Today I share my initial gaming experience in the Player Vs Environment (PvE) mode on Muterra.

Muterra ia a Hive based play-to-earn game that I decided to invest in almost two years ago during the presale of the Maldives packs (July 27, 2021).

Muterra is a TCG game project like Splinterlands but also RPG like the famous Pokemon game.
Muterra is a game in the Alpha V.1.100 development phase and many features have not yet been implemented but it is already possible to play in PvE mode while the PvP mode is not yet playable.

To play PvE mode and to be enabled to earn in-game rewards it is required:

• have 1 Tamer with activated licence or alternatively use the default tamer with 1 activated licence.
• send the Tamer into the game
• find and defeat mutees to obtain items. The items can be sold in exchange for MUTs (Muterra's native tokens) that can be withdrawn from the in-game wallet and sent to the Hive Engine wallet.

In my previous post, I shared my choice to purchase a Tamer License and showed the steps to:

• purchase a license
• activate the license on a Tamer
• send the Tamer into the game

In today's post, I share my initial experience of playing the game with advice on which Mutees to defeat in order to get the items that have the highest sale value and thus allow you to get more in-game rewards (MUT tokens).

There are 6 active Mutees in the game but the best items in order of value are obtainable by defeating:

• the lion
• the boar
• the cat
• the bird

There are different Tamers that have different capacity to carry items (Carrying Capacity) as you can see from the table below..

The tamer who has the highest Carrying Capacity is Tanya (Carrying Capacity = 4) while common and epic tamers have a Carrying Capacity = 2 which is the lowest capacity among all tamers.

Tamers also have a different STAMINA attribute and every time a Tamer enters a new map it consumes part of its stamina and the consumption depends on the size of the map.

This means that if your Tamer has a Carrying Capacity = 2 you should always choose to kill the lion and boar before leaving the map otherwise you will earn less MUT than the maximum amount you could earn.

My Tamer with an activated license is a ECHO TAMER which has the following game statistics:

• Carrying Capacity = 3
• Health = 110
• Stamina = 99

To view the game statistics of the active Tamer, simply click on the Tamer's image or tamer indicators (top left).

From the same window you can view the commands that can be used in the game by clicking on the Question Mark (?).

Now I'll show you the game results I got today:

• the number of Mutees I defeated
• the type and number of items I collected
• the gain in MUT tokens I got from selling the items

The first mutee I defeated today is the leon.

The item obtainable from the lion is the Barkpelt that can be collected by pressing the SPACEBAR near the item.

The second mutee I defeated today is the boar

The third mutee I defeated today is the cat.

I had to stop here because my Echo Tamer can only carry three items.

I exited the map where I fought against the mutees and moved to the map where the HQ is located.
Entering the new map cost me 25 points of stamina.

In the following image you can see the entrance to the HQ.

Within the HQ you can sell items by interacting with the character located immediately after the entrance.

I selected SELL ITEMS and sold all the items I collected earlier.

As you can see in the CART section, the items I have collected (Barkpelt, Rockbones, and Soarcat Hide) are the items that have the highest sale value among the available items:
Barkpelt = 0.14 MUT
Rockbones = 0.048 MUT
Soarcat Hide = 0.04 MUT
Sharp Talons = 0.025 MUT
Banefly Wings = 0.02 MUT
Chitin = 0.02 MUT

I was also lucky because I collected 2x soarcat Hide = 0.04 MUT * 2 = 0.08 MUT by defeating only one mutee.

From the sale of the 4 items I obtained 0.268 MUT

Leaving HQ I returned to the Sweet Plains map to defeat more mutees.

After defeating the first mutees I made a mistake but I'm glad I did because it can be useful for me not to make mistakes in the future and for you reader if you play or will play on Muterra.

When you don't defeat a mutee and lose all your life you are taken back to the beginning of the map and you can resume the game with maximum life points and this is what happened to me today but when I was transported to the entrance of the map I accidentally pressed on the RIGHT button on my keyboard which took me out of the map and I had to re-enter the map consuming with one entry and one exit 50 points of stamina (25+25).

Without my mistake I would have had enough stamina to defeat 6 Mutees and collect a minimum of 6 items which would have earned me a minimum of 0.456 MUT.

Now even though I have 3 items I have to wait for my stamina to rise to 25 to exit the map and return to HQ to sell the items I collected.

In spite of my distraction error I can still make initial calculations and evaluations.
With my ECHO Tamer I can defeat 6 mutees per day, get a minimum of 6 items and earn a minimum of 0.456 MUT per day.

Today 1 MUT has a market value of:

• 0.12000010 SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid).
• 0.14499999 SWAP.HIVE (Lowest Ask)

Considering the current value of the HIVE tokens and the Highest Bid value of the MUT token, the my potential minimum daily gain on Muterra in PvE mode is 0.456 MUT = 0.05472 HIVE = $0.01915

Considering that the time I took was very little I consider this potential gain good though small: 0.01915$.

The MUT tokens that I will accumulate from my gaming activity I will put all of them into staking because there is a airdrop going on for MUT stakeholders.

I have so far accumulated 222.13 staked MUTs that guarantee me a **daily airdrop in MUT tokens.

The last payment I received was 2.0170 MUT.

Today I officially added a new and fun few-minute daily game activity to my daily game activity on the Hive games in which I am an active player/investor.

In my next post on Muterra I will make a financial evaluation of my investment on Muterra and calculate the time needed to break even for me and also for a new player.

In July, a new MINI-GAME will be released that has taken inspiration from another famous Hive game: Terracore.
This new mini-game is called Mole Miner and will increase the usefulness of MUT tokens, which will acquire a new use case and it will be interesting to see the effect of this new game on the market value of MUT tokens.

Muterra: La mia iniziale esperienza di gioco PvE: A caccia di Mutees da sconfiggere!

Chi legge regolarmente il mio Hive blog conosce molto bene la mia passione per i giochi basati su blockchain e in particolare per gli Hive games.

Oggi condivido la mia iniziale esperienza di gioco nella modalità Player Vs Environment (PvE) su Muterra.
Muterra è un gioco Hive based in cui ho investito circa due anni fa durante la presale dei pacchi Maldives (27 luglio 2021).

Muterra è un progetto di un gioco TCG come Splinterlands ma anche RPG come il famoso gioco Pokemon.
Muterra è un gioco nella fase di sviluppo Alpha V.1.100 e molte funzionalità non sono state ancora implementate ma è già possibile giocare nella modalità PvE mentre la modalità PvP non è ancora giocabile.

Per giocare alla modalità PvE e per essere abilitati a guadagnare le ricompense di gioco è necessario:

• avere 1 Tamer con licenza attivata o in alternativa utilizzare il tamer di default con licenza attivata
• inviare il Tamer nel gioco
• trovare e sconfiggere i mutees per ottenere items che possono essere venduti in cambio di MUT (i token nativi di Muterra) che possono essere prelevati dal in-game wallet e inviati nel Hive Engine wallet

Nel mio precedente post ho condiviso la mia scelta di acquistare una Tamer Licence e ho mostrato i passi per:

• acquistare una licenza
• attivare la licenza su un Tamer
• inviare il Tamer nel gioco

Nel post di oggi condivido la mia esperienza iniziale di gioco con i consigli su quali Mutees sconfiggere per ottenere gli items che hanno il maggior valore di vendita e che quindi permettono di ottenere un numero maggiore di ricompense di gioco (token MUT).

Ci sono 6 Mutees attivi nel gioco ma i migliori items in ordine di valore sono ottenibili sconfiggendo:

• il leone
• il cinghiale
• il gatto
• l'uccello

Ci sono diversi Tamers che hanno una diversa capacità di trasportare gli items (Carrying Capacity) come puoi vedere dalla tabella seguente..

Il tamer che ha la capacità di trasporto maggiore è Tanya (Carrying Capacity = 4) mentre i tamers comuni ed epici hanno una Carrying Capacity = 2 che è la capacità più bassa tra tutti i tamers.

Inoltre i Tamers hanno anche un attributo STAMINA diverso e ogni volta che un Tamer entra in una nuova mappa consuma parte della sua stamina e il consumo dipende dalla grandezza della mappa.

Questo vuol dire che se il tuo Tamer ha una Carrying Capacity = 2 dovrai scegliere sempre di uccidere il leone e il cinghiale prima di uscire dalla mappa altrimenti guadagnerai un quantitativo di MUT inferiore rispetto al massimo che potresti guadagnare.

Il mio Tamer con licenza attivata è un ECHO TAMER che ha le seguenti statistiche di gioco:

• Carrying Capacity = 3
• Health = 110
• Stamina = 99

Per visualizzare le statistiche di gioco del Tamer attivo è sufficiente cliccare sull'immagine del Tamer o sugli indicatori del tamer (in alto a sinistra).

Dalla stessa finestra è possibile visualizzare i comandi utilizzabili nel gioco cliccando sul Punto Interrogativo (?).

Adesso ti mostro i risultati di gioco che ho ottenuto oggi:

• il numero di Mutees che ho sconfitto
• il tipo e il numero di items che ho raccolto
• il guadagno in token MUT che ho ottenuto dalla vendita degli items

Il primo mutee che ho sconfitto oggi è il leone.

L'item ottenibile dal leone è il Barkpelt che può esssere raccolto premendo la SPACEBAR in prossimità dell'item.

Il secondo mutee che ho sconfitto oggi è il cinghiale.

Il terzo mutee che ho sconfitto oggi è il gatto.

Mi sono dovuto fermare qui perchè il mio Echo Tamer può trasportare solo tre items.

Sono uscito dalla mappa in cui ho combattuto contro i mutees e mi sono diretto verso la mappa in cui si trova l'HQ.
L'ingresso nella nuova mappa mi è costato 25 punti di stamina.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere l'ingresso dell'HQ

All'interno dell'HQ è possibile vendere gli items interagendo con il personaggio che si trova subito dopo l'ngresso.

Ho selezionato SELL ITEMS e ho venduto tutti gli items che ho raccolto prima.

Come puoi vedere nella sezione CART gli items che ho raccolto (Barkpelt, Rockbones e Soarcat Hide) sono gli items che hanno il valore di vendita più alto tra gli items disponibili:
Barkpelt = 0.14 MUT
Rockbones = 0.048 MUT
Soarcat Hide = 0.04 MUT
Sharp Talons = 0.025 MUT
Banefly Wings = 0.02 MUT
Chitin = 0.02 MUT

Sono stato anche fortunato perchè ho raccolto 2x soarcat Hide = 0.04 MUT * 2 = 0.08 MUT sconfiggendo un solo mutee.

Dalla vendita dei 4 items ho ottenuto 0.268 MUT

Uscito dall'HQ sono tornato nella mappa Sweet Plains per sconfiggere altri mutees.

Dopo aver sconfitto il primo mutees ho fatto un errore che però sono contento di aver fatto perchè può essere utile a me per non sbagliare in futuro e a te lettore se giochi o giocherai su Muterra.

Quando non sconfiggi un mutee e perdi tutta la vita vieni riportato all'inizio della mappa e puoi riprendere la partita con i punti vita al massimo e questo è quello che mi è capitato oggi ma quando sono stato trasportato all'ingresso della mappa ho premuto per sbaglio sul tasto RIGHT sulla mia tastieria che mi ha portato fuori dalla mappa e sono duvuto rientrare nella mappa consumando con un ingresso e un'uscita 50 punti di stamina (25+25).

Senza il mio errore avrei avuto un quantitativo di stamina sufficiente per sconfiggere 6 Mutees e raccogliere un minimo di 6 items che mi avrebbero fatto guadagnare un minimo di 0.456 MUT.

Adesso anche se ho 3 items devo aspettare che la mia stamina salga a 25 per uscrire dalla mappa e tornare nell'HQ per vendere gli items che ho raccolto.

Nonostante il mio errore di distrazione posso comunque fare dei calcoli e delle valutazioni.
Con il mio ECHO Tamer posso sconfiggere 6 mutees al giorno, ottenere un minimo di 6 items e guadagnare un minimo di 0.456 MUT al giorno.

Oggi 1 MUT ha un valore di mercato di:

• 0.12000010 SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid)
• 0.14499999 SWAP.HIVE (Lowest Ask)

Considerando il valore attuale dei token HIVE e il valore Highest Bid del token MUT il mio potenziale guadagno minimo giornaliero su Muterra nella modalità PvE è di 0.456 MUT = 0.05472 HIVE = 0.01915$

Considerato che il tempo che ho impiegato è stato davvero poco considero questo guadagno potenziale buono anche se piccolo: 0.01915.

I token MUT che accumulerò dalla mia attività di gioco li metterò tutti in staking perchè è in corso un airdrop per i MUT stakeholders.

Io ho accumulato fino ad ora 222.13 MUT staked che mi garantiscono un airdrop giornaliero in token MUT.

L'ultimo pagamento che ho ricevuto è stato di 2.017 MUT

Oggi ho ufficialmente aggiunto una nuova e divertente attività di gioco giornaliera della durata di pochi minuti alla mia attività di gioco giornaliera sugli Hive games in cui sono un giocatore/investitore attivo.

Nel mio prossimo post su Muterra farò una valutazione finanziaria del mio investimento su Muterra e calcolerò il tempo necessario per raggiungere il punto di pareggio per me e anche per un nuovo giocatore.

Nel mese di luglio sarà rilasciato un nuovo MINI-GAME che ha preso ispirazione da un'altro Hive game famoso su Hive: Terracore.
Questo nuovo mini-game si chiama Mole Miner e aumenterò l'utilità dei token MUT che acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso e sarà interessante vedere l'effetto di questo nuovo gioco sul valore di mercato dei token MUT.
