Holozing Collection Rewards Shift to 70/30: Big Boost for Opened Vials

+ My First Alpha Vials Opened!

Today I return to write about Holozing which is one of the projects under development that I follow with great interest.

If you don't know Holozing you should know that it is a Hive-based project of a Pokemon-style RPG game (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing is not yet playable, but since November 2, 2025 the opening of Alpha Vials, the starter packs, has been implemented.

I have 8 Alpha Vials and until today I had chosen not to open them.

I think the decision not to open my Alpha Vials was logical and reasonable because initially, opened Alpha Vials did not allow you to earn ZING, while unopened Alpha Vials did.

In fact, in the post I published on November 5, 2025, I showed how opening an Alpha Vial would have meant giving up a reward of 173.01 ZING per day.

I chose not to open my Alpha Vials even on November 11, 2025, when the distribution of rewards was divided equally (50%/50%) between the closed Alpha Vials and the items contained in the Alpha Vials.

Two days ago (November 23, 2025), the founder of Holozing announced a new change in the distribution of ZING tokens between closed Alpha Vials and items contained in Alpha Vials:

Unopened Alpha Vials: 30%
Items contained in Alpha Vials: 70%.

This change reduces the ZING token reward for unopened Alpha Vials.

Today, November 25, 2025, out of 4,144 Alpha Vials sold:

1,995 have been opened
2,149 are unopened

Based on the number of Alpha Vials Sold and Opened and on the data published by Holozing on the amount of ZING tokens distributed, I calculated for each Alpha Vial purchased and not opened:

the gain in ZING tokens
the APR
the time needed to reach the Break-Even Point

Today, November 25, 2025, 1 unopened Alpha Vial allows you to receive 69.7999 ZING per day = 0.08865 SWAP.HIVE = $0.00922

If on November 2, the decision not to open my Alpha Vials was the most logical and reasonable choice for me, today it is no longer so, and I have decided to open 4 Alpha Vials.

To open 4 Alpha Vials, I went to the Inventory->Others section and clicked on OPEN

On the next screen, I clicked on Open Cube and then clicked Confirm on Hive Keychain.

The opening animation is very nice.

In the next image, you can see what I found in my first opened Alpha Vial.

You can open one Alpha Vial at a time. To open the second one, I clicked on Close Cube and repeated the procedure I showed you earlier.

In the next images, you can see what I found inside the other 3 Alpha Vials I opened.

Consumables have no weight in the distribution of ZING tokens, while for all other items, the weight has been indicated in this post: Zing Collection Rewards for creatures & items are now live!

After opening the 4 Alpha Vials in the Creatures and Items sections of my Inventory, I was able to see all the creatures and items I found.

Regarding creatures, I found:

1 Uncommon Infurno
1 Uncommon Wrackoo
1 Rare Walle
1 Rare Infurno

The rarest items I found are:

Starter Gloves of Holo Rarity
Capture Card of Gold Rarity

Holozing: Collection Rewards Passano al 70/30: Grande Spinta per i Vials Aperti + Ho Aperto i Miei Primi Alpha Vials!

Oggi ritorno a scrivere su Holozing che è uno dei progetti in fase di sviluppo che seguo con molto interesse.

Se non conosci Holozing devi sapere che è un progetto Hive-based di un gioco RPG stile Pokemon (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing non è ancora giocabile ma dal 2 novembre 2025 è stata implementata l'apertura degli Alpha Vials, gli starter packs.

Io ho 8 Alpha Vials e fino ad oggi avevo scelto di non aprirli.

Penso che la scelta di non aprire i miei Alpha Vials è stata logica e sensata perchè inizialmente gli Alpha Vials aperti non permettevano di guadagnare ZING mentre gli Alpha Vials non aperti si.

Infatti nel post che ho pubblicato il 5 novembre 2025 ho mostrato come aprire un Alpha Vial mi avrebbe fatto rinunciare ad una ricompensa di 173.01 ZING al giorno.

Ho scelto di non aprire i miei Alpha Vials anche l'11 novembre 2025, quando la distribuzione delle ricompense è stata divisisa in parti uguali (50%/50%) tra gli Alpha Vials chiusi e gli elementi contenuti negli Alpha Vials.

Due giorni fa (23 novembre 2025) il fondatore di Holozing ha annunciato un nuovo cambio nella distribuzione dei token ZING tra gli Alpha Vials chiusi e gli elementi contenuti negli Alpha Vials:

Alpha Vials Unopened: 30%
elementi contenuti negli Alpha Vials: 70%.

Questo cambio riduce il guadagno in token ZING per gli Alpha Vials Unopened.

Oggi 25 novembre 2025 su 4144 Alpha Vials venduti:

1995 sono stati aperti
2149 sono non aperti

In base al numero di Alpha Vials Sold e Opened e in base ai dati pubblicati da Holozing sulla quantità di token ZING distribuiti ho calcolato per ogni Alpha Vials acquistato e non aperto:

il guadagno in token ZING
l'APR
il tempo necessario per raggiungere il Break Event Point

Oggi 25 novembre 2025 1 Alpha Vials unopened permette di ricevere 69.7999 ZING al giorno = 0.08865 SWAP.HIVE = 0.00922$

Se il 2 novembre la decisione di non aprire i miei Alpha Vials era per me la scelta più logica e sensata oggi non lo è più e ho deciso di aprire 4 Alpha Vials.

Per aprire 4 Alpha Vials sono andato nella sezione Inventory->Others e ho cliccato su OPEN

Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su Open Cube e poi ho cliccato Confirm su Hive Keychain.

L'animazione di apertura è molto bella.

Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere cosa ho trovato nel mio primo Alpha Vial aperto.

E' possibile aprire un Alpha Vial per volta e per aprire il secondo ho cliccato su Close Cube e ho ripetuto la procedura che ti ho mostrato prima.

Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno degli altri 3 Alpha Vials che ho aperto.

I consumabili non hanno peso nella distribuzione dei token ZING mentre per tutti gli altri elementi il peso è stato indicato in questo post: Zing Collection Rewards for creatures & items are now live!

Dopo l'apertura dei 4 Alpha Vials nelle sezioni Creatures e Items del mio Inventory ho potuto vedere tutte le creature e gli elementi che ho trovato.

Per quanto riguarda le creature ho trovato:

1 Uncommon Infurno
1 Uncommon Wrackoo
1 Rare Walle
1 Rare Infurno

Per quanto riguarda gli items quelli più rari che ho trovato sono:

Starter Gloves of Holo Rarity
Capture Card of Gold Rarity

2 rare su 4 Vials sembra tanta roba! E immagino che anche i guanti Holo non siano facili da trovare in così poche Vials.

Io non so bene che fare, perchè con la mia fortuna troverò tutta roba da schifo ed il mio share nella distribuzione delle rewards sarà anche peggio di quello attuale 🤣

Immagino però che dovrò aprirle, anche solo per togliermi la curiosità di quel che ci potrei trovare dentro! !LOL

The project was announced in October 2023, and the initial roadmap scheduled its launch for 2024. A significant amount of time has passed since then, and there is still no release date for the game. I remain confident and continue to follow this project because it is being developed by Hivers with a good reputation on Hive, and because I would enjoy playing a Pokémon-style game on Hive.
My hope is that it won't be much longer before we can play...

When you open one or more alpha vials, the value does not change immediately, but it will after a while.

With four Alpha Vials opened, I have already doubled my daily reward, so I think I'll open them all soon ;)

It looks like the breakeven point will take quite a while. Maybe when the full game comes out and you are able to use the cards, that will be faster. I think your strategy is fairly solid as opening the vials seems more worthwhile compared to holding them.
