My results in season 99
+ Focus on CROP Market Value (May 10 - May 25)
I like to play Hive-based games and at the same time I like to create content about the games in which I am an active player and today I return to share my gaming activity and progress on dCrops.
dCrops is a Hive-based farming game that is very easy to play in the farmer mode and a bit more complicated if you choose to play in the other game modes.
My choice to be an active player on many Hive-based games instead of just one implies the fact that I have to divide my little free time between several games, and for this reason on dCrops I have chosen to play only the farmer mode because it is the easiest to manage and above all requires very little time.
At the time of writing this sentence, the winter season is underway, which started less than four hours ago and will end in 14 days and 20 hours.
The current season is season number 100 and that means that it is 100 seasons that I have been wearing the role of virtual farmer because I started playing on dCrops from the first season without ever skipping a single season.
At the beginning of the previous season, the 4 Years Anniversary Event ended thanks to which I was able to purchase 1 Alpha pack.
Based on the scheduling of past events, the next event might be the Halloween event and that means it will probably take more than 5 months for the next event.
Those who read my posts on dCrops know well my strategy on dCrops which is heavily influenced by events.
Until the next event I will no longer sell crops that I produce through my game activity except for crops that I will sell only to complete seasonal Sell-type quests.
I like to sell a lot of crops during the first day of events to have a chance to buy the best items in the Event Shop before they sell out.
Therefore, starting this season, the value in Shares of my inventory will resume increasing until the start of the next event.
The disadvantage of my event-oriented strategy is the substantial forfeiture of good placement in seasonal leaderboards where there are no events going on which equates to receiving much smaller CROP token rewards than I could get if I sold my crops season after season but if I have chosen this strategy it is because I feel that the disadvantages are less than the advantages.
Today I started my seasonal game activity as usual with the claim of rewards of the quests I completed in the previous season.
I received 15 chests and in the next image you can see what I found inside.
Based on the market value of resource-type NFTs, I received a reward with an estimated value of 3.20 SWAP.HIVE.
Claiming seasonal quest rewards is always my first game operation in every season start while claiming new quests is always my second game operation.
Today I clicked on Get New Quests to receive 7 new seasonal quests.
Out of 7 quests I received 3 quests that I can't complete because I only have 2 Kidney beans seeds, I don't have King Weed seeds and I don't have Sweet Potato seeds in my NFT collection.
To change these three quests I did 4 rerolls and spent a total of 40 CROP tokens

During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.
Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.
In the previous season, season 99, players earned 0.196 CROP for each SHARE point** (in season 98: CROP/SHARE = 0.216 CROP).
The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important and like to monitor, which is why I share this information in each of my posts on dCrops.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.
Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 99 the active players were 222 = -15 active players compared to season 98.
The last game operation I perform during each early season is the planting of my seed-type NFTs.
This season I used 4 boosters: 1 speed-grow and 3 Fertile Plus.
In the next image you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 79 plots.
I have already completed the sell and plant type quests and only have 4 Harvest type quests left that I will complete in about 7 days.
I like to monitor the token value of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will end this post with a small focus on the value of the CROP token.
In the next image you can see the difference in value in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars recorded by the CROP token in the time interval: May 10, 2025 - May 25, 2025.
Compared to 15 days ago, the dollar value of the HIVE token has slightly decreased: -0.008$ = -3.02%.
Compared to May 10, 2025, the dollar value of the CROP token has decreased:
- Highest Bid value: -21.03%
- Lowest Ask value: -14.05%
dCrops events always produce a positive effect on the market value of the CROP token but when they end the effect is exactly the opposite...

Focus sul valore di mercato del token CROP
Mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games e allo stesso tempo mi piace creare contenuti sui giochi nei quali sono un giocatore attivo e oggi ritorno a condividere la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops.
dCrops è un Hive-based farming game molto semplice da giocare nella modalità farmer e un pò più complicato se si sceglie di giocare nelle altre modalità di gioco.
La mia scelta di essere un giocatore attivo su molti Hive-based games invece di uno soltanto implica il fatto che devo dividere il mio poco tempo libero tra più giochi e per questo motivo su dCrops ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità farmer perchè è la più semplice da gestire e soprattutto richiede pochissimo tempo.
Nel momento in cui scrivo questa frase è in corso la stagione invernale che è iniziata da meno di quattro ore fa e terminerà tra 14 giorni e 20 ore.
La stagione in corso è la stagione numero 100 e questo vuol dire che sono 100 stagioni che vesto il ruolo di agricoltore virtuale perchè ho iniziato a giocare su dCrops dalla prima stagione senza mai saltare una singola stagione.
All'inizio della stagione precedente è terminato il 4 Years Anniversary Event grazie al quale sono riuscito ad acquistare 1 Alpha pack.
In base alla programmazione degli eventi passati, il prossimo evento potrebbe essere l'evento di Halloween e questo vuol dire che ci vorranno più di 5 mesi per il prossimo evento.
Chi legge i miei post su dCrops conosce bene la mia strategia su dCrops che è fortemente influenzata dagli eventi.
Fino al prossimo evento non venderò più i crops che produco grazie alla mia attività di gioco ad esclusione dei crops che venderò solo per completare le quests stagionali di tipo Sell.
Mi piace vendere molti crops durante il primo giorno degli eventi per avere la possibilità di acquistare gli articoli migliori nell'Event Shop prima che vadano in sold out.
Per questo motivo a partire da questa stagione il valore in Shares del mio inventario riprenderà a crescere fino all'inizio del prossimo evento.
Lo svantaggio della mia strategia orientata agli eventi è la sostanziale rinuncia ad un buon piazzamento nelle leaderboard stagionali in cui non ci sono eventi in corso che equivale a ricevere premi in CROP token molto più piccoli di quelli che potrei ottenere se vendessi i miei crops stagione dopo stagione ma se ho scelto questa strategia è perchè ritengo che gli svantaggi sono inferiori rispetto ai vantaggi.
Oggi ho iniziato la mia attività di gioco stagionale come sempre con il claim delle ricompense delle quests che ho completato nella stagione precedente.
Ho ricevuto 15 chests e nella prossima immagine puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno.
In base al valore di mercato degli NFT di tipo resource ho ricevuto una ricompensa del valore stimato di 3.20 SWAP.HIVE.
Il claim delle ricompense delle quest stagionali è sempre la mia prima operazione di gioco in ogni inizio stagione mentre la richiesta delle nuove quests è sempre la seconda operazione di gioco.
Oggi ho cliccato su Get New Quests per ricevere 7 nuove quests stagionali.
Su 7 quest ho ricevuto 3 quest che non posso completare perchè ho solo 2 Kidney beans seeds, non ho King Weed seeds e non ho Sweet Potato seeds nella mia collezione di NFT.
Per cambiare queste tre quests ho fatto 4 rerolls e ho speso in totale 40 CROP token

Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.
Conoscere il rapporto CROP/SHARE relativo alla precedente stagione è un informazione utile soprattutto per i nuovi giocatori perchè in questo modo possono avere una stima del valore in CROP che possono ottenere utilizzando un NFT di tipo seme.
Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 99, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.196 CROP per ogni punto SHARE (nella stagione 98: CROP/SHARE = 0.216 CROP).
Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante ed è un elemento che mi piace monitorare e per questo motivo in ogni mio post su dCrops condivido queste informazioni.
Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.

A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.
Nella stagione 99 i giocatori attivi sono stati 222 = -15 giocatori attivi rispetto alla stagione 98.
L'ultima operazione di gioco che effettuo durante ogni inizio di stagione è la semina dei miei NFT di tipo seme.
In questa stagione ho usato 4 boosters: 1 speed-grow e 3 Fertile Plus.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi nei miei 79 plots.
Ho già completato le quests di tipo sell e plant e mi rimangono solo 4 quests di tipo Harvest che completerò tra 7 giorni.
Mi piace monitorare il valore dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o ho investito e concludo la parte di questo post relativa a dCrops con un piccolo focus sul valore del token CROP.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere la differenza di valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari registrata dal token CROP nell'intervallo di tempo: 10 maggio 2025 - 25 maggio 2025.
Rispetto a 15 giorni fa il valore in dollari del token HIVE è leggermente diminuito: -0.008$ = -3.02%.
Rispetto al 10 maggio 2025 il valore in dollari del token CROP è diminuito:
- Highest Bid value: -21.03%
- Lowest Ask value: -14.05%
Gli eventi di dCrops producono sempre un effetto positivo sul valore di mercato del token CROP ma quando terminano l'effetto è esattamente l'opposto...

It seems like it's just a change in strategy. I think it's valid, though, and its just what you think is more rewarding. I think the seasonal reward seem way better than the normal season, and its not like its a complete loss.

Do you also sell your 3-star crops? Or do you keep them for the leaderbord points that they provide?
I only sell crops to complete seasonal quests and accumulate crops without selling them with the goal of selling them only during events, typically on the first day, to buy the items I like best in the event shop before they end
