My strategy for the event and my results in the first two day of the event

Yesterday, I published a post to share my game activity and proggress on dCrops.

I started writing the post in the afternoon, then had to stop writing due to personal commitments and published it at night.
When I started writing the post dCrops had not yet announced the start of the event to celebrate its 4-year anniversary and I have to thank @steveguereschi and @garlet who pointed out to me that the event started 3 days early.

In fact, two hours after the publication of my post dCrops announced the start of the 4-year anniversary event via this post: dCrops 4 Year Anniversary Event Is Now Live!

In today's post I share my strategy related to this event and the results I obtained during the first day of the event.

The functioning of the current event is similar to previous events:

  • all usual game actions allow you to receive Ester Eggs that can be spent in the Event Shop to purchase certain items.

  • The most valuable items in the Event Shop can be purchased with Golden Tickets

  • Golden Tickets can be found in Golden Eggs that cost 250 easter eggs each.
    The probability of finding 1 Golden Tickets in 1 Golden Egg = 20% = 1 out of 5.

Those who have read my previous posts about dCrops know well that my gaming activity on dCrops is strongly influenced by the events organized by dCrops because during the seasons I accumulate the crops I produce in my inventory without selling them except for the crops I sell to complete seasonal quests.
I sell most of the crops stored in my inventory during the first day of the events so as to accumulate as many ester eggs/event points to buy many Golden Eggs with the hope of finding enough Golden Tickets to buy from the Event Shop the Alpha packs or Beta packs that are my main goal in each event.

Today I followed my well-established strategy and sold all the crops in my inventory keeping only 10 crops of each type because I still need a minimum of crops available to easily complete the seasonal quests.

Before selling my crops in my inventory I had an amount of crops worth 38685 Shares.

It is possible to sell a maximum of 1000 crops at a time, and in the next pictures you can see how many Shares I earned today.

I sold 2742 crops.
I earned:

  • 25043 shares
  • 10015 Easter eggs

With 10000 easter eggs I purchased 40 golden eggs hoping to find at least 6 golden tickets.

The probability of finding 1 Golden ticket in 1 Golden Egg is 20% and with 40 Golgen Egg:

  • finding 8 golden tickets = average case
  • finding less than 8golden tickets = unlucky case
  • finding more than 8 golden tickets = lucky case

I was slightly unlucky because I found 7 Golden tickets instead of the likely 8! :(

I chose to spend my first 6 golen ticktes to buy 1 Alpha pack.

I could have spent 5 golden tickets also to buy 1 Beta pack but I preferred 1 Alpha pack because the last Alpha pack sold on Hive Engine was sold at 14.5 SWAP. HIVE while the last Beta pack sold on Hive Engine was sold at 5.72 SWAP.HIVE

Now I only have 1 Golden Ticket.
If I get lucky and can find 4 more Golden Tickets I will also purchase 1 Beta pack.

As for the other part of the event (helping Easter Bunny) I chose not to participate.

I should spend 4000 CROP = 15.60 SWAP.HIVE to receive 3x30 = 90 golden eggs guaranteed in 30 days.

In 90 Golden Eggs I could find 18 Golden Tickets (average case) with which I could buy 3 Alpha packs (about 43 SWAP.HIVE of total value) or I could buy 3 Beta Packs (about 16 SWAP.HIVE of total value)

There is definitely a potential gain but also a risk in case the Alpha Packs (only 45 left) and Beta packs (150 left) run out before I can reach an amount of Golden Tickets to buy them.

This time and in this event I decided to take a safe profit = 1 Alpha pack purchased versus a potential but not guaranteed higher profit.

By the way by not spending 4000 CROP I will not decrease my CROP Power by -4000 points while other players will and my daily rewards in liquid HIVE may slightly increase ;)

Obviously my strategy is personal and it might be much more profitable to participate in all options prensent in the current event but what to do in the event is your free choice because my strategy is not financial advice.

The event also has two other reward mechanisms: Daily Login Rewards and Raffle.

I will not participate in the Daily Login Rewards while I will consider whether to participate in the Raffle only when the items that can be purchased in the Event Shop that I like the most are finished.

With the sale of crops I made today, I am in temporary fourth place in the Seasonal Leaderboard.

The season has just started and my final gain in CROP will be much lower but I will be able to start the next season with a larger amount of CROP and consequently also a higher CROP Power.

Events are one of the aspects I like most about dCrops

Nel post di oggi condivido la mia strategia relativa a questo evento e i risultati che ho ottenuto durante il primo giorno dell'evento.

Il funzionamento dell'evento in corso è simile agli eventi precedenti:

  • tutte le usuali azioni di gioco permettono di ricevere Ester Eggs che possono essere spesi nell'Event Shop per acquistare alcuni items.

  • Gli items di maggior valore nell'Event Shop possono essere acquistati con i Golden Tickets

  • i Golden Tickets possono essere trovati nei Golden Egg che costano 250 easter egg ognuno.
    La probabilità di trovare 1 Golden Tickets in 1 Golden Egg = 20% = 1 su 5.

Chi ha letto i miei precedenti post su dCrops sa bene che la mia attività di gioco su dCrops è fortemente influenzata dagli eventi organizzati da dCrops perchè durante le stagioni accumulo i crops che produco nel mio inventario senza venderli ad eccezione dei crops che vendo per completare le quests stagionali.
Vendo la maggior parte dei crops conservati nel mio inventario durante il primo giorno degli eventi in modo da accumulare il maggior numero di ester egg/punti evento per acquistare molti Golden Egg con la speranza di trovare un numero sufficiente di Golden Tickets per acquistare dall'Event Shop gli Alpha packs o i Beta packs che sono il mio obiettivo principale in ogni evento.

Oggi ho seguito la mia consolidata strategia e ho venduto tutti i crops nel mio inventario conservando solo 10 crops per ogni tipologia perchè ho comunque bisogno di un minimo di crops disponibili per completare agevolmente le quests stagionali.

Prima di vendere i miei crops nel mio inventario avevo un quantitativo di crops del valore di 38685 Shares.

E' possibile vendere un massimo di 1000 crops per volta e nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere quanti Shares ho guadagnato oggi.

Ho venduto 2742 crops.
Ho guadagnato:

  • 25043 shares

Con 10000 easter eggs ho acquistato 40 golden egg sperando di trovare almeno 3 Golden tickets.

La probabilità di trovare 1 Golden ticket in 1 Golden Egg è del 20% e con 40 Golgen Egg:

  • trovare 8 golden ticket = caso medio
  • trovare meno di 8golden ticket = caso sfortunato
  • trovare più di 8 golden ticket = caso fortunato

Sono stato leggermente sfortunato perchè ho trovato 7 Golden tickets invece dei probabili 8! :(

Ho scelto di spendere i miei primi 6 golen ticktes per acquistare 1 Alpha pack.

Potevo spendere 5 golden tickets anche per acquistare 1 Beta pack ma ho preferito 1 Alpha pack perchè l'ultimo Alpha pack venduto su Hive Engine è stato venduto a 14.5 SWAP.HIVE mentre l'ultimo Beta pack venduto su Hive Engine è stato venduto a 5.72 SWAP.HIVE

Mi è rimasto 1 solo Golden Ticket.
Se avrò fortuna e riuscirò a trovare altri 4 Golden Tickets acquisterò anche 1 Beta pack.

Per quanto riguarda l'altra parte dell'evento (aiutare Easter Bunny) ho scelto di non partecipare.

Dovrei spendere 4000 CROP = 15.60 SWAP.HIVE per ricevere 3x30 = 90 golden eggs garantiti in 30 giorni.

Questa volta e in questo evento ho deciso di prendere un profitto sicuro = 1 Alpha pack acquistato rispetto ad un potenziale ma non garantito profitto più alto.

Tra l'altro non spendendo 4000 CROP non diminuirò il mio CROP Power di -4000 punti mentre altri giocatori lo faranno e le mie ricompense giornaliere in HIVE liquidi potrebbero leggermente aumentare ;)

Ovviamente la mia strategia è personale e potrebbe essere molto più profittevole partecipare a tutte le opzioni prensenti nell'evento in corso ma cosa fare nell'evento è una tua libera scelta perchè la mia strategia non è un consiglio finanziario.

L'evento ha anche altri due meccanismi di ricompensa: Daily Login Rewards e Raffle.
Non parteciperò al Daily Login Rewards mentre valuterò se partecipare alla Raffle solo quando gli items acquistabili nell'Event Shop che mi piacciono di più saranno terminati.

Con la vendita dei crops che ho effettuato oggi sono al quarto posto temporaneo nella Leaderboard stagionale.

La stagione è appena iniziata e il mio guadagno finale in CROP sarà molto più basso ma potrò iniziare la prossima stagione con un quantitativo maggiore di CROP e di conseguenza anche un CROP Power più alto.

Ogni volta i premi finiscono in un batter d'occhio... mi ricordo ancora dell'unica volta in cui ho partecipato 😅 la cosa positiva però è che così il valore di questi pacchetti è sempre rimasto alto, perchè immagino siano abbastanza scarsi ed ambiti.

I think it's a good event, and taking the guaranteed profit is a good choice. It's never bad to lock in some gains.

Oramai la mia strategia è puntare agli scrigni (considerando che mi sto rivelando particolarmente fortunata nella spin wheel, dato che ne ho vinti un botto a forza di girare la ruota, dovrei entro la fine dell'anno averne un buon numero per espandere la fattoria) e agli item (vinti parecchi anche quelli). Ho accumulato tutte le coltivazioni a due e tre stelle e magari ne venderò parecchie da due per fare numero...
