Supposed to dine outside looking for fries and burgers but discovered this small shop. The name made me decide to walk in.

Happy Palm Sunday to those who are celebrating! Usually, we woke up early as it was church time. I didn't have a hard time waking up Caleb as he was up at past five in the morning. Thus, as much as I wanted to share photos, I left my phone at my sister-in-law's house. I'm not sure if it's only me, but since I gave birth, the urge to pee has been my problem. That is why I drop by her home on my way to church. My forgetful brain didn't remember to pick up my phone before leaving.

Thankful her husband handed it to me before the mass ended 😆.

Instead of going home, Caleb and I went another route as I planned to dine outside. After all, it's his 10 months today, so it was something to celebrate.

Too bad the restaurant was still closed. Business hours start at eleven, and it's only past nine. So, I took a public ride to the next street as it was too hot already. There are still several local restaurants there.

Still, we are unable to as the operation starts at ten 😂.

The scorching sun, plus I was carrying Caleb, made my sweat drip. I could feel it running down my back and face. Fifteen minutes left before ten, and there is no waiting area. The guard didn't even offer so I left.

Maybe I should go home and order food instead.

While waiting for a jeep, I looked at my back and saw these shops.

Love, Amaiah The name was quite interesting.

That made me decide, why not dine here?

Outside, the interior looks plain. No design, just the name and these high chairs.

That made me hesitant but gladly I went inside.

It was just a small coffee shop and could cater few customers. At the right was this bar counter enough for five persons.

At the left was this couch and a round table where Caleb and I sat.

Next was another long couch with tables, and see the tagline! I love it, and I agree that the vibes were homey.

Supposedly, I was looking for short orders like breakfast, but this was only available.

That made me choose caramel coffee, jelly frappe, and sandwiches (I love Amaiah). Now I was curious about the shop's name.

If my guess was right, the owner was the one who took my order. He looks in his mid-twenties, so who is Amaiah? Lol? Perhaps the love of his life was even included in the menu. Like, a sandwich specifically prepared for her with love.

After paying, I sat down to wait for my order.

First sip and I'm loving it! The coffee jelly was made perfectly. The texture and the sugar level were enough! It was worth the money.

While I was eating, Caleb was peacefully sitting beside me, at least for a minute.

Overall, the experience was great. Frappe here tastes better than the previous coffee shop I visited. Before, I thought there was none in this place, but I guessed I was wrong. I need to go out and explore as hidden shops are in the corner.

I researched who the owner of this shop is, and I was right. The barista who entertained me was one of the owners (two of them.) After checking their social media, I found out both are married, yet none of their wives is named Amaiah. On my next visit. I gonna asked them about the coffee shop name 😆.
