FIFA 07 - Online Tournament (Gameranger) | League Phase (First Leg Matches) | My Team: Liverpool
What's up colleagues... Welcome once again to another gaming content of my authorship. Today I will be sharing with all of you my impressions of my first participation in a FIFA 07 Online Tournament.
First of all I must thank my colleague @marcoquin, since he was the one who told me about this tournament in which he had the opportunity to participate some time ago. Also thanks to him I had the opportunity to join the tournament group without many protocols.
Que tal colegas... Sean bienvenidos una vez más a otro contenido gaming de mi autoría. El día de hoy estaré compartiendo con todos ustedes mis impresiones de mi primera participación en un Torneo Online de FIFA 07.
Primero que nada debo darle las gracias al colega @marcoquin, ya que él fue quien me hablo de este torneo en el cual tuvo la oportunidad de participar hace un tiempo. También gracias a él tuve la oportunidad de ingresar al grupo del torneo sin muchos protocolos.
Talking now a little bit about this Online Tournament, it is important to say that it is played by ''Gameranger'', for those who don't know ''Gameranger'' is a free program that allows you to play many classic and modern games online. It has a very simple interface where you can find a list of friends, where you can chat without problems. If you are a gamer who likes old school games, you will surely be able to play some of them without any problem.
Hablando ahora un poco de este Torneo Online, es importante decir que se juega por ‘’Gameranger‘’, para los que no lo saben ‘’Gameranger‘’ es un programa gratuito que permite jugar muchos juegos clásicos y modernos de forma online. El mismo posee una interfaz muy sencilla donde se puede encontrar una lista para amigos, donde se puede chatear sin problemas. Si eres un gamer que le gustan los juegos de la vieja escuela, seguramente por este medio podrán jugar alguno sin problema.
The tournament has its Facebook group which is called "FIFA 07 UCL Tournament Updated", one of the things that caught my attention is that today has 1,219 members and since its inception in 2012 has always been active with its tournaments.
El Torneo tiene su grupo en Facebook el cual tiene por nombre "Torneo FIFA 07 UCL Actualizado", una de las cosas que me llamo bastante la atención es que a día de hoy tiene 1.219 miembros y desde su creación en el año 2012 ha sido siempre activo con sus torneos.
It is important to mention that in the tournament only enable 20 places for participants, which makes entering the same is somewhat complicated, luckily I had the opportunity to enter the current edition, which is number 98. For this edition I have taken the reins of the English team ''Liverpool'', for those who know about soccer know how emblematic and how good the team is today, but in the tournament is not enough to have a good team and that will talk a little below where I will tell you a little about my participation in the first phase of the league games.
Es importante mencionar que en el torneo solo habilitan 20 plazas para los participantes, lo cual hace que ingresar al mismo sea algo complicado, por suerte he tenido la oportunidad de ingresar en la Edición actual, la cual es la numero 98. Para esta edición he tomado las riendas del equipo inglés ‘’Liverpool‘’, para el que sepa de fútbol sabe lo emblemático y lo bueno que es el equipo en la actualidad, pero en el torneo no es suficiente con tener un buen equipo y de eso hablaré un poco a continuación donde les contaré un poco sobre mi participación en la primera fase de los juegos de Liga.
As you can see in the image above is the final table of the first round, I have been quite behind, but the positive thing about this first part of the tournament, is that I have taken it as learning. I used to use only the basic controls, but in the game there are key combinations with which you can make several moves, I did not know this, but it was something I learned as the tournament progressed.
I must also say that since I started in the tournament I have taken my participation very seriously and I not only play the matches for the tournament, I also practice a lot in Gameranger against random players, this with the idea of understanding better the mechanics of FIFA 07.
FIFA 07 is a soccer game a little old, but over the years it has been a game that has aged quite well and today many users still play it, at least in the Gameranger there is always a good amount of FIFA 07 rooms created and I am sure that in online network servers such as Hamachi there are also networks available to play it. It's characteristic difficult gameplay in online mode is what keeps this good old school soccer game alive and kicking. I'm excited to be able to participate in this tournament, the competitors have a pretty high level and that's what motivates me the most.
Como pueden ver en la imagen de arriba está la tabla final de la primera ronda, he quedado bastante rezagado, pero lo positivo de esta primera parte del torneo, es que lo he tomado como aprendizaje. Yo solía usar solo los controles básicos, pero en el juego hay combinaciones de teclas con las cuales se pueden hacer varias jugadas, esto no lo sabía, pero fue algo que aprendí a medida que el torneo avanzaba.
Debo decir también que desde que empece en el torneo me he tomado muy en serio mi participación y que no solo juego los partidos por el torneo, también suelo practicar bastante en Gameranger contra players aleatorios, esto con la idea de ir entendiendo mejor las mecánicas de la FIFA 07.
El FIFA 07 es un juego de fútbol un poco viejo, pero con el pasar de los años ha sido un juego que ha envejecido bastante bien y que a día de hoy lo juegan muchos usuarios aún, por lo menos en el Gameranger siempre hay una buena cantidad de salas creadas de FIFA 07 y tengo la seguridad que en servidores de redes online como por ejemplo el Hamachi también hay redes disponibles para jugarlo. Su característica jugabilidad tan difícil en el modo online es lo que sigue manteniendo con vida este buen juego de fútbol de la vieja escuela. Me emociona poder participar en este torneo, los competidores tienen un nivel bastante alto y es eso lo que más me tiene motivado.
Soon I will be bringing the news of the second phase of the League, I keep practicing hard to achieve better positions. I'm getting better and better adapted to the gameplay, I just hope to keep improving.
Dentro de poco estaré trayendo las novedades de la segunda fase de la Liga, sigo practicando a tope para lograr alcanzar mejores posiciones. Cada vez me adapto mejor a la jugabilidad, solo espero seguir mejorando.

Me sorprende ver cómo aún hay grupos activos de juegos tan viejos, es aún más sorprendente ver cómo hay aplicaciones que le dan servidores para llevar a cabo partidas online, lol. Diría que es definitivamente un hito.

Es bueno verte por acá bro... La verdad hay muchos juegos viejitos que se pueden jugar Online por medio de Gameranger, entre estos puedo decirte algunos como Need For Speed Underground, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Call Of Dutty en Sus primeras entregas, Warcraft III, Mitology y pare de contar... Son muchos juegos bro.
