Splinterlands Art Contest | River Nymph

My day wasn't really good, I've been having trouble sleeping well for the past three days and I feel really tired all the time. Because of this, I spent much more time creating this for the splinterlands art contest, I'm glad I was able to finish it today.

Mi día no ha sido muy bueno, llevo tres días con problemas para dormir bien y me siento muy cansada todo el tiempo. Debido a esto, pasé mucho más tiempo creando esto para el concurso de arte de splinterlands, me alegro de haber podido terminarlo hoy.

For me, the river nymph card is a very beautiful one, I really love the colours and how simple the character looks. The river nymph is a rare card in the water unit, she lives beneath the water surface, has a strong respect for life and always ready to help those in need. Isn't that amazing?

Para mí, la carta de la ninfa del río es muy bonita, me encantan los colores y lo sencillo que parece el personaje. La ninfa de río es una carta poco común en la unidad de agua, vive bajo la superficie del agua, tiene un gran respeto por la vida y siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a los que lo necesitan. ¿No es increíble?

I've had this idea for a while, I've done something similar before but not for this contest, this time I added more details and colours. I started with a sketch to guide me through the work, then I chose and painted colours for her hair and skin. I knew I was going to make some parts of her skin blue but I used my normal skin colour for that initially. I painted her facial features, her neck and hair piece, I used the same colours in the original art for this and I love it.

Hace tiempo que tenía esta idea, ya había hecho algo parecido antes pero no para este concurso, esta vez añadí más detalles y colores. Empecé con un boceto para guiarme en el trabajo, luego elegí y pinté los colores para el pelo y la piel. Sabía que iba a pintar de azul algunas partes de la piel, pero al principio utilicé mi color de piel habitual. Pinté los rasgos faciales, el cuello y el mechón de pelo. Utilicé los mismos colores que en el original y me encanta.

I thought it would be nice to paint some leaves and plants in the background, I also added lots of blue, green and purple flowers. Painting the water was quite easy since I didn't have to do much, I used different shades of blue for it and also added few fishes and bubbles. Her hair still looked basic so I added bigger and smaller strands, added more details and earrings to her ears, I really loved this part. I also painted fishes and flowers on one part of her hair before adding blue some glow to her skin, eyes and hair. This just a nymph chilling in her natural world,I hope you love this one.

Pensé que estaría bien pintar algunas hojas y plantas en el fondo, también añadí muchas flores azules, verdes y moradas. Pintar el agua fue bastante fácil ya que no tuve que hacer mucho, utilicé diferentes tonos de azul para ella y también añadí algunos peces y burbujas. Su pelo seguía pareciendo básico, así que añadí mechones más grandes y más pequeños, añadí más detalles y pendientes en sus orejas, esta parte me encantó. También pinté peces y flores en una parte de su pelo antes de añadir algo de brillo azul a su piel, ojos y pelo. Es solo una ninfa en su mundo natural, espero que os guste.
