Hey, my sincere recommendation would be that if you have a little more budget, you should buy a Nintendo 3DS or a New 3DS right away, since on the 3DS you'll be able to play the entire catalog of handheld consoles up to that point: DS, DSI, GBA, etc. So it would be much better for you, since you wouldn't be able to play Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, for example.
