First of all, I want to clarify that I am not looking for the best or most competitive strategy. I am not interested in using what everyone else uses. Therefore, I am aware that my compositions are not the best. My goal is to use what I like, what I enjoy and what is more or less functional to win from time to time.
Antes que nada, quiero aclarar que yo no busco la mejor estrategia o la más competitiva. No me interesa usar lo típico que usan todos. Por ende, soy consiente qué mis composiciones no son los mejores. Mi objetivo es usar lo que me gusta, lo que me divierta y lo que sea más o menos funcional para ganar de vez en cuando.
My first deck consists of Alakazam with Weezing. The strategy would be simple, we use Weezing to hold and wear down with its poison while we evolve and charge Alakazam. With the release of the new cards, I added 2 jagged helmets to do even more wear and tear with Weezing, and trainer Helio, since he became an almost essential card. It helps me to prevent them from running away with little life.
Mi primer mazo consta de Alakazam junto a Weezing. La estrategia sería sencilla, utilizamos a Weezing para aguantar y desgastar con su veneno mientras evolucionamos y cargamos a Alakazam. Con la salida de las nuevas cartas, agregué 2 cascos dentados para hacer aún más desgaste con Weezing. Y al entrenador Helio, ya que se volvió una carta casi imprescindible. I like this deck because Alakazam is one of my favorite pokemon and because it is an underrated card. It's very rare to see it. Besides, it's Celebi's counter. It gives me a lot of pleasure to hit him 300 or more.

The problem it has is that it is slow, we won't be able to attack with Alakazam until the third or fourth turn. This means that we have a pretty mediocre early game. Therefore it leaves us quite vulnerable to early game decks. In addition to using dark and psychic energies at the same time, we are prone to sometimes get an energy that we don't need.
El problema que tiene es que es lento, no podremos atacar con Alakazam hasta el tercer o cuarto turno. Lo que hace que tengamos un juego temprano bastante mediocre. Then we have the Gengar and Dusknoir deck. Where the strategy is to get Gengar as fast as possible to start attacking, while Dusknoir stays behind to act as a “bodyguard”. Since its ability allows it to absorb damage. For example, if Gengar lacks 50 health, Dusknoir can lose that 50 health to pass it to Gengar. This makes Gengar very difficult to get down, because he has 170 health and Dusknoir protects him.

I love this composition basically because it has Gengar and Dusknoir, which are two of my favorite pokemon. Aside from the fact that this strategy is little known and rare, which I like. I think I will have seen 1 or 2 others using this deck.

The problem with this deck is that it's even slower than Alakazam, having 2 pokemon with 2 evolutions. It compensates a bit with so many cards that speed things up, but still, it has a nasty early game. I tried to improve this a bit by putting in Promotional Haunter, which allows you to flip a coin and if it comes up heads, we hit 50, but it's not enough. I would say that with this composition, I can win 3 or 4 out of 10. Since currently, the meta is very fast.
El problema que tiene este mazo es que es aún más lento que el de Alakazam, al tener 2 pokemones con 2 evoluciones. Se compensa un poco con tantas cartas que agilizan las cosas, pero aun así, tiene un juego temprano asqueroso. Traté de mejorar esto un poco al poner a Haunter promocional, que te permite al tirar una moneda y si sale cara, pegamos 50, pero no es suficiente. Diría que con esta composición, puedo ganar 3 o 4 de 10. Ya que actualmente, el meta es muy rápido.
