I've mentioned several times in the past that I play Pokémon TGC Pocket casually. I'm not interested in investing a lot of time in it, much less competing.

But during the last weekend I decided to make an exception. I was playing several games in ranked mode. Since I was excited about the new deck I put together and wanted to see how good it was for competitive play.

As the games went by, I realized that this deck has 2 flaws. First, it depends a lot on luck. All decks depend on luck, to a greater or lesser extent, but the case of Wishiwashi is extreme. If the hand is bad to start with, it is almost a sentence of defeat. On the other hand, if the hand is good and Misty's card helps us a little, we can hit more than 100 in the first or second turn. Con el pasar de las partidas, me percaté qué esta baraja tiene 2 defectos. Primero, depende mucho de la suerte. Todas las barajas dependen de la suerte, en mayor o menor medida, pero el caso de Wishiwashi es extremo. Si al empezar la mano es mala, es casi una sentencia de derrota. After playing dozens of games I managed to get to ultra Ball 1 rank, which is not bad, but that's the limit of the deck. I enjoyed using Wishiwashi, but the reality is that there are much better options to compete. Imagine that out of all the games I played, only once did I come across another Wishiwashi deck (and it beat me 😢).

Disfrutó usar a Wishiwashi, pero la realidad es que hay opciones mucho mejores para competir. In conclusion, I had a good time playing qualifiers, but I doubt I'll do it again for a while. I'll go back to playing totally casual. Since I can't afford to invest that much time in this game. Besides it disgusts me to see how everyone uses the same 3 decks with no personality.
En conclusión, me la pasé bien jugando clasificatorias, pero dudo que lo vuelva a hacer en un tiempo. Volveré a jugar manera totalmente casual. Ya que no puedo permitirme invertir tanto tiempo en este juego. Aparte que me da asco ver como todos usan las mismas 3 barajas sin personalidad.

LOL, I might be one of those. I never experimented and just copied a couple of decks from someone and played with them. But I rarely do any battles now. Just trying to collect the cards from the free packs.
Maybe my problem is not with those who copy decks, I have done it several times. My problem is that it gets to a point where everyone uses the same broken strategy haha.
You better just play it to collect, it's the healthiest way to enjoy the game.
