Honestly, I feel fortunate to have been able to enjoy these 3 consoles during my childhood and part of my adolescence.

On this occasion I would like to tell you a little about my experience and incidentally show off a bit of my treasures. 👀

These consoles keep a great part of my best memories regarding video games. Besides I had the opportunity to play great titles. Like Super Mario Sunshine on Game Cube, Pokemon Stadium on Nintendo 64 and Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii.

Estas consolas guardan gran parte de mis mejores recuerdos con respecto a videojuegos. Aparte que tuve la oportunidad de jugar grandes títulos. Como Super Mario Sunshine en Game Cube, Pokemon Stadium en Nintendo 64 y Super Smash Bros Brawl en Wii.

And sorry if I sound conceited, but I feel privileged to have been able to enjoy a great game like Super Smash Bros Melee on its original console.

I may be biased by nostalgia, but I think The Nintendo Game Cube is one of the most aesthetically pleasing consoles out there. I love that it's a purple cube and that it's called the Game Cube. Plus the joysticks are spectacular both to look at and to touch. It should be noted that in this aspect there was an abysmal improvement over its predecessor. Since the joysticks of the Nintendo 64 were very uncomfortable and unpleasant to the eye.

I'm going to say something perhaps controversial. I feel that Nintendo consoles and their respective games are more suitable for a U16 audience. And that, on the other hand, Sony consoles and their games are more suitable for a more 16 audience. Since Nintendo is generally related to Mario and Pokémon which are games focused on children and Sony with GTA and Resident Evil which are games intended for adults. I clarify that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this and that I am referring in a general sense and not absolute. Not all Nintendo games are for children and not all Sony games are for adults.

Voy a decir algo tal vez controversial. Yo siento que las consolas de Nintendo y sus respectivos juegos son más aptos para un público sub 16. Y que, por otro lado, las consolas de Sony y sus juegos son más aptos para un público más 16. I mention this because I don't think I would have enjoyed these consoles if I picked them up when I was older. For example, it's not the same playing Super Mario Sunshine for the first time when I was 13 as it is when I was 19. They arrived when I was 12 years old and it was the right time to enjoy them to the fullest.

Menciono esto porque pienso que no hubiera disfrutado estas consolas si las agarraba de más grande. Por ejemplo, no es lo mismo jugar a Super Mario Sunshine por primera vez con 13 años a jugarlo con 19. Por eso les tengo un gran cariño a estas consolas. Llegaron cuando tenía 12 años y era el momento justo para disfrutarlas al máximo.

One thing I noticed is that in the past, there was a significant change when moving to the next generation of console. For example, from the Nintendo 64 to the Game Cube there is a drastic change in power, graphics, console aesthetics and joysticks. The same happens when moving from the Game Cube to the Wii. On top of that there is only 5 years difference between them.

Algo de lo que me percaté es que en el pasado, había un cambio significativo cuando se pasaba a la siguiente generación de consola. Por ejemplo, de la Nintendo 64 a la Game Cube hay un cambio drástico en potencia, gráficos, estética de la consola y joysticks. Lo mismo ocurre cuando se pasó de la Game Cube a la Wii. Encima ente estas solo hay 5 años de diferencia.

I feel that in the last decade, the improvements or changes between console generations are minimal or imperceptible. For example, between the PlayStation 4 and 5 there really isn't a big innovation. Obviously, the latter is more powerful, but it doesn't represent a big leap in quality.

Siento que en la última década, las mejoras o cambios entre generaciones de consolas son mínimos o imperceptibles. Por ejemplo, entre la PlayStation 4 y 5 realmente no hay una gran innovación. Obviamente, está última es más potente, pero no representa un gran salto de calidad.

Maybe in the near future I will connect these consoles and upload some gameplay. The problem is that I need an old TV. The problem is that I need an old TV, because the current ones are not compatible with such old consoles.
