This is my first post of the year, and I'm very excited to share with you all my unforgettable moments playing Dragon Quest Builders 2. In this chapter, I'll share some of the structures I've built and my explorations in the mines to find gold and silver ore. Both I and the game's story require it; firstly, because I need it to create better weapons and armor, and secondly, because of the main quest, since I'm currently on Moiranda Island.
Previously, I was working on the construction of the tavern for the miners, as they need it to find inspiration and bring us more minerals. Geodore needs this to bring back the golden age to Moiranda, which is also one of the main objectives of the game.
All the miners were very happy with this new discovery and the complete reconstruction of the tavern. Now they can all find more inspiration, eat, and drink to bring back the minerals we need. However, I've noticed that the enemies on this island are attacking more frequently, so that will hinder my progress a bit due to the countless times I've had to face them.
Over time, I've noticed that the deeper we delve into the mines in search of valuable minerals, the more dangerous the enemies become. If it weren't for the fact that I'd upgraded my iron armor a bit, I don't think I could withstand their attacks. So I encountered an enemy much stronger than the last, since they were already quite powerful, and there were two burly fighters with axes.
Having found more minerals, I was finally able to upgrade the base. This way, I can create more things that will help them continue to develop their village. Everyone was very happy about this new achievement, since it seemed they hadn't seen their village grow in many years, attracting more members to go mining.
While trying to connect all the mines, such as the iron, copper, and coal mines, we noticed a group of Hargon soldiers behind the walls. There were several moles of different colors, and one of them was much larger. Their captain was also there, and I really liked seeing him using his shield and sword, as they emitted a color that symbolized his leadership of this group of enemies.
Now that I had completed the connection of both mines, it was time to go down a little further. So, it was time to find the gold and platinum ores, but first, I had the task of creating a small gym for the strongmen, since they wanted to get Babs's attention. But it turns out she wasn't paying attention to the strongmen, but rather to restoring harmony to Moiranda.
So, I was breaking some blocks to flatten the ground so I could build the small gym. It has some simple features, but the important thing is that they feel happy with this new achievement.
