Déjame respirar

Las veces que vengo a Guárico eso le digo a mi esposa: déjame respirar. Ese aire tan puro que solo aquí puedo apreciar. Déjame respirar ese aire puro y sentir que estoy vivo porque cada vez que vengo a visitar la casa de mis suegros, puedo vivir esta naturaleza que me ofrece el llano venezolano.

Déjame respirar porque siento que aquí soy libre.

El sol es diferente porque veo como puede acariciar el llano y las nubes se posan en la extensión de todo ese cielo azul, el viento entre los árboles, me hace ser parte de su magia. Es un lugar donde cada detalle parece una obra de arte natural, hasta el sonido rítmico de los grillos al caer la tarde. Aquí no hay prisas ni agobios, solo existe el presente. Cada respiro me conecta con algo más grande, una paz que no encuentro en ningún otro lugar, mi esposa lo sabe como disfruto de estar en casa de sus padres.

No hay wifi ni computadoras, ni monitores, ni mucho menos fronteras que me limiten, puedo sentir que soy libre en este espacio donde la naturaleza me recuerda que la vida no se mide en segundos ni en días, sino en momentos que quedan tatuados en mi alma.
Déjame respirar, le digo al aire, porque aquí la definitivamente para mí la vida cobra sentido.

Aquí, entre el llano y el infinito cielo, siento que soy quien siempre quise ser: alguien que vive, que respira y que encuentra en cada rincón un motivo para soñar.

Let me breathe

Whenever I come to Guárico I tell my wife: let me breathe. Let me breathe that pure air that only here I can appreciate. Let me breathe that pure air and feel that I am alive because every time I come to visit my in-laws' house, I can live this nature that the Venezuelan plains offer me.

Let me breathe because I feel that here I am free.

The sun is different because I see how it can caress the plain and the clouds settle in the extension of all that blue sky, the wind among the trees, makes me be part of its magic. It is a place where every detail seems a natural work of art, even the rhythmic sound of the crickets at dusk. Here there is no rush or stress, there is only the present. Every breath connects me with something greater, a peace that I do not find anywhere else, my wife knows this as I enjoy being at her parents' house.

There is no Wi-Fi or computers, no monitors, much less borders that limit me, I can feel that I am free in this space where nature reminds me that life is not measured in seconds or days, but in moments that are tattooed in my soul.
Let me breathe, I say to the air, because here life definitely makes sense to me.

Here, between the plain and the infinite sky, I feel that I am who I always wanted to be: someone who lives, breathes and finds in every corner a reason to dream.
