How does spike do it?
- Spike binds to TLR4 (and sometimes TLR2) on the cell surface → sends a signal inside → IκB gets shredded → NF-κB runs into the nucleus → turns on 300+ inflammatory genes (IL-6, TNF-α, IL-1β, etc.).
