IQDungeon - The Knight's Way Is Full Of Puzzles [ENG -ESP]
Puzzle video games are always entertaining and at the same time can be stressful and even frustrating when you end up spending a lot of time on a single puzzle and you think you've done everything possible to overcome it, this becomes even more complicated when they are titles that at first glance seem simple, with levels where you don't have many options to try and even more when they decide to add ways to overcome the challenges that are not very intuitive. This is precisely what I found in IQDungeon, a mobile title quite simple in design, with a nice aesthetic, but a much higher difficulty than expected.

IQDungeon like many mobile games has a simple approach where the adventure begins at once without giving you many explanations and without teaching you how to play or what are the controls, perhaps this is why the puzzles can be quite complicated in the early levels. The adventure is based on the fact that we will be an aspiring knight who must become one and overcome different levels saving princesses and defeating enemies.
In each level we will have our character on the screen in a static way and there will be few elements with which we can interact, but without an explanation of what we can do is a bit complicated to intuit the solution, we can press and even move elements on the screen in search of the solution, Something curious is that each level has in a certain way a difficulty meter, a semi-circle in the upper central part shows us how our reasoning should be for the level, if the mark is more to the right you have to think logically as a typical puzzle, and to the left side you have to use more imagination to try unexpected things.

Undoubtedly the most complicated levels are all those where the meter is practically on the far left and we must try things that may not even make sense at first. Being a mobile video game, besides having touch controls, it can also register the rotation of the phone, so in some levels you must rotate the phone or shake it to make some objects move by themselves, other levels you must literally block or cover elements of the stage with your finger to “stop” it. Because of this and the fact that there are usually only a few objects to interact with per level, the difficulty of the imagination levels tends to be high.
The levels of logical thinking are usually simpler, in them you should not be finding somewhat absurd solutions and simply limited to simple puzzles of movement and mathematics which after a couple of attempts you end up finding the solution. Something interesting is that we also have the ability to buy two clues per level with which we end up solving the puzzle and we can even skip the level automatically, these options cost crystals and although the aim of the game is that you buy them in your store, you can also earn them by watching short videos or with bonus levels of opening treasure chests which appear every certain amount of levels passed

In the end IQDungeon is a very interesting and entertaining title, with a very simple but fun visual aesthetic and also very reminiscent of the titles of many years ago that we could find on the internet in the pages of free video games, at first it can be quite complicated to have no idea what things you can do in each level and you can even get to move elements that at first it would be logical that would not move, if you are a fan of puzzle games will undoubtedly be very entertaining and useful to hang out anywhere, especially considering that like many mobile games I've tried lately, does not require internet connection to have to play it which is always very good for those times when the connection is very bad or just no internet connection. A title that makes you change your way of thinking when you have to overcome each level and each challenge.

Los videojuegos de Puzles siempre suelen ser entretenidos al mismo tiempo de poder llegar a ser estresantes y hasta frustrantes cuando terminas pasando mucho tiempo en un solo puzle y crees que ya hiciste todo lo posible para superarlo, esto se vuelve aun mas complicado cuando son títulos que a simple vista parecen sencillos, con niveles en donde no tienes muchas opciones por probar y aún más cuando deciden agregar formas de superar los desafíos muy poco intuitivas. Esto es precisamente lo que encontré en IQDungeon un título móvil bastante simple en diseños, con una estética bonita, pero una dificultad mucho mas alta de lo esperado.

IQDungeon como muchos juegos móviles tiene un enfoque sencillo en donde la aventura comienza de una vez sin darte muchas explicaciones y sin enseñarte como jugar ni cuales son los controles, tal vez por esto los puzles pueden resultar bastante complicados en los primeros niveles. La aventura se basa en que seremos un aspirante a caballero que deberá convertirse en uno y superar diferentes niveles salvando princesas y derrotando enemigos.
En cada nivel tendremos a nuestro personaje en la pantalla de forma estática y serán pocos los elementos con los cuales podremos interactuar, pero sin una explicación de que podemos hacer resulta un poco complicado de intuir la solución, podemos presionar y hasta desplazar elementos en la pantalla en búsqueda de la solución, algo curioso es que cada nivel tiene de cierta manera un medidor de dificultad, un semi circulo en la parte central superior nos muestra cómo debería ser nuestro razonamiento para el nivel, en caso de estar la marca más a la derecha hay que pensar de forma lógica como típico puzle, y hacia el lado izquierdo hay que utilizar más la imaginación para probar cosas inesperadas.

Sin dudas los niveles mas complicados son todos aquellos donde el medidor está prácticamente al extremo izquierdo y debemos probar cosas que incluso puede no tener sentido en un primer instante. Al tratarse de un videojuego móvil, a demás de tener los controles táctiles, también puede registrar la rotación del teléfono, por lo cual en algunos niveles debes girar el teléfono o agitarlo para que algunos objetos se muevan solo, otros niveles debes literalmente bloquear o tapar elementos del escenario con tu dedo para de esa manera “detenerlo”. Debido a esto y a que en lo general son los pocos los objetos para interactuar por nivel, la dificultad de los niveles de imaginación suele ser alta.
Los niveles de pensamiento lógico suelen ser mas sencillos, en ellos no debes estar encontrando soluciones algo absurdas y simplemente se limita a simples puzles de movimiento y matemáticas los cuales luego de un par de intentos terminas encontrando la solución. Algo interesante es que también contamos con la posibilidad de comprar dos pistas por nivel con las cuales terminaremos resolviendo el acertijo e incluso podemos saltar el nivel de forma automática, estas opciones cuestan cristales y aunque el objetivo del juego es que los compres en su tienda, también se pueden ganar viendo videos cortos o con niveles bonus de abrir cofres del tesoro los cuales aparecen cada cierta cantidad de niveles superados

AL final IQDungeon resulta ser un titulo muy interesante y entretenido, con una estética visual muy sencilla pero divertida y que además recuerda mucho a los títulos de hace muchos años que podíamos encontrar en internet en las paginas de videojuegos gratis, al principio puede resultar bastante complicado al no tener idea de que cosas puedes hacer en cada nivel y que incluso puedes llegar a mover elementos que en un principio sería lógico que no se movieran, si eres fanático de los videojuegos de puzles sin dudas resultara muy entretenido y útil para pasar el rato en cualquier lugar, en especial considerando que como tantos videojuegos móviles que he probado últimamente, no requiere de conexión a internet para tener que jugarlo lo cual siempre resulta muy bueno para esos momentos donde la conexión está muy mala o simplemente no hay conexión a internet. Un titulo que te hace cambiar tu forma de pensar al momento de tener que superar cada nivel y cada desafío
