Genshin Impact - The Secrets Of The Tombs Of The Sumeru Desert

I recently decided to go back to the world quests I haven't finished in Genshin Impact, and for now I wanted to finally complete the ones in the Sumeru Desert and the ancient tombs. I had already made some progress in this group of quests, but now I had to find, explore, and reap the benefits of several tombs, which allow me to unlock more puzzles and with them obtain more chests and benefits. Although these tombs weren't really complicated, they were incredible to look at and had fantastic designs.

What caught my attention the most about each of the tombs was their size. The rooms were often really impressive, very spacious, and in some cases even had an infinite background, a precipice that if we fell off, our character would automatically lose health and reappear higher up.

I have always loved the architectural style of the tombs. They have a light color palette in the blocks, walls, and floors, a light stone color but at the same time with the yellowish tone typical of the desert. The great thing about having such light tones is that the lighting in the tomb could stand out even more, and those with blue or green tones completely changed the overall aesthetic, but when you started to appreciate all the structures, you realized that they maintained a general focus among all the tombs.

As always, the ones with more reddish or brown tones were my favorites. In the end, I feel that this tone is the one that most makes us think of ancient Egyptian tombs, although more futuristic tones such as the bluish ones filled with deactivated robots undoubtedly also have their essence and attract a lot of attention.

After completing all the tombs, I finally reached the top of a large pyramid in the middle of the desert, which was generating a huge sandstorm. I had to defeat a robot to end the sandstorm, but not before taking a great picture of how the sun was peeking through the eye of the storm and how the sand around it created the effect of a portal to another dimension.

Something unexpected was that at the top of the pyramid there was a large mystical artifact with a bluish hue that would be visible when the sandstorm ended, but the strangest thing was that on top of it was the platform where I had fought, a kind of inverted pyramid from which I could appreciate the great height at which I was and the arid landscape of the desert, which was also full of pyramids and ancient structures. Without a doubt, the views were worth all the effort of completing the missions.
