primero que nada buenos dias, tardes o noches, por cualquiera que sea la zona horario a o hora en que se vislumbre este post, en esta ocasión realizando un dibujo para el art contest de splinterlads, como ya se diría que es costumbre
En esta ocasión cambiamos un poco la base dle dibujo, al final obtuve un resultado bastante parecido al habitual, aunque no fue como la intención logro convencerme el resultado
partir por hacer el boceto, si asi se le puede decir, con simplemente poner lo que pienso que son los colores base del dibujo, medio dándole la forma, forma que medio intentamos respetar al final, tal vez puede que para algunos hiciera algunos trazos que a lo mejor no terminaban de encajar, pero yo preferí hacer algunos cambios, como marcar parte de las lineas del traje, cabe mencionar que tal vez algunas de las capaz no están demostradas de todo, la verdad es que termine con mas capaz que con las que muestro, pero llego un momento en el que confundi algunas capaz y esta medio mezclado

This time, we changed the basis of the drawing a little, and in the end, I got a result that was quite similar to the usual one, although it wasn't what I had intended, I was convinced by the result.
I started by making a sketch, if you can call it that, simply putting down what I thought were the base colors of the drawing, kind of giving it shape, a shape that we kind of tried to respect in the end. Perhaps for some, I made some strokes that didn't quite fit, but I preferred to make some changes, such as marking part of the lines of the suit. It's worth mentioning that perhaps some of the layers aren't fully shown. The truth is that I ended up with more layers than I show, but there came a point where I confused some layers and it's a bit mixed up.

de manera posterior igual con tonalidades trato de marcar o añadirle mas detalles, tal vez algo que si tenga que cambiar es el uso de un pincel o quitarle saturación, esto debido a que creo uqe el que uso se satura muy rápido y tiene muchos detalles, para un trazo tan general como el que se busca, pero bueno

ya por ultimo se viene el retoque, con lineas completamente solidas, aplicando sombras o marcando los contorno e iluminación que sea que pueda tener, la verdad este paso a lo mejor me falto uno mas entre medio o segmentar com otal las sombras de la luz, pues que eso lo haga en un futuro, muchas veces estos se hacen con colores mas saturados o oscuros o claros, al respecto que se uso como base, asi como termine con colocar unas lineas, me gusta mucho como se miran, la verdad es que son mas que nada para temas como la piel y la rpa, esto debido a que me gusta ese contorno que porta, ya cont temas como el cabello solo puse las que considere realmente necesarias, esto debido qa que si me gusto ahi las tonalidades alcanzados

Afterwards, I try to highlight or add more details with shades. Perhaps something I need to change is the use of a brush or removing saturation, because I think the one I use saturates very quickly and has too many details for such a general stroke as the one I'm looking for, but anyway...

Finally, it's time for retouching, with completely solid lines, applying shadows or highlighting the contours and lighting that it may have. To be honest, I think I may have missed a step in between or segmenting the shadows of the light, but I'll do that in the future. These are often done with more saturated, dark, or light colors. Regarding what was used as a base, as I finished adding some lines, I really like how they look. The truth is that they are mostly for things like skin and hair, because I like the outline they provide. For things like hair, I only added the ones I considered really necessary, because I liked the tones achieved there.

Asi mismo aprovechando el apartado de referencia que está justo debajo aprovechó para hablar un poco de lo que me llamó la atención de la carta, porque pareciera ser un caballero, pero el lugar de cargar su característica espada trae una lanza, creo que en términos de practicidad debió ser muy complicado el alcanzar la agilidad o destreza que requiere el uso de lanza con una armadura tan prieten, al menos que por algún motivo le facilite el uso por parte de las runas como que esta misma tenga gravadas,
Nota cabe mencionar que no leo el fragmento de lore son solo mis impresiones de lo que me transmite la carta o como yo diria parte de mis desvaríos

Likewise, taking advantage of the reference section just below, I took the opportunity to talk a little about what caught my attention in the card, because it seems to be a knight, but instead of carrying his characteristic sword, he carries a spear. I think that in terms of practicality, it must have been very difficult to achieve the agility or dexterity required to use a spear with such heavy armor, unless for some reason the runes engraved on it make it easier to use.
It's worth mentioning that I don't read the lore fragment; these are just my impressions of what the card conveys to me, or as I would say, part of my ramblings.
