Hello my viewers and all Hivians, Welcome to my Gaming Space where I give detailed analysis of my Splinterlands Battle.
For this week we shall discuss the theme of DRAGONS.
The rule allows us to use any Monster from the Primal Force of Dragon. Hence, since I don't own a Dragon Monster, I went to the Splinterlands in-game market place to rent one.
DRAGON MONSTERS ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!
I began my search to pick one of these Monsters considering my financial budget. At the end, I chose the Diamond Dragon Monster. I had to pay for two days, since it is the minimum, and I spent a total of 6.588 DEC.
The Monster had a great stat, but with high Mana. This made it somehow difficult to use it in battles because Splinterlands decided to give me battles with less than 15 Mana Cap 😅😅😅 This happened for about 20 times, and on few occasions I got a 24/25 Mana Cap.
You can't predict them!
Enough of the talks, let's get to the game. As usual, I'll begin with an analysis and overview of the Monster, and then I'll show a battle where I used this Monster.
So let's get to it!
DIAMOND DRAGON 🐉
Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: DRAGON
Attack: MAGIC
Abilities: FLYING, SLOW, CLEANSE AND LAST STAND
LORE
Tulafra, The Diamond Dragon, is not actually made of diamonds; she is simply named for her nearly indestructible exoskeleton. She is not the strongest or largest of the Dragons, but she is difficult to bring down in battle. She lives in a huge ground floor penthouse of Centrum City.

FINANCIAL STATS 💰
The Legendary Diamond Dragon is a Rare and a pretty expensive Monster.
It has about 2,456 cards in circulation right now.
You can rent the card for as low as 1.78 DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) to 112.73 DEC per day for a level 1, and as high as 982 for a level 4 card from the In-game Marketplace.
You can also buy the Monster from the in-game Marketplace. It is auctioned at the Market place for as low as $27.80 and as high as $8,600. O shiii! Will it ever be sold at that price?
MY THOUGHTS 🤔
The Diamond Dragon is truly a Legendary Monster.
Its stats is intimidating: Great shield for protection, decent health, and moderate attack + speed.
It's Abilities are top notch: Flying, Slow, Cleanse and Last stand. Each of these Abilities are great independently, and when combined they are da bomb 💣
It is also an expensive Monster and one that is worth its price. Well, it's a recommended one, if you can afford it. However, be prepared to use it only in Battles with high Mana Cap.
⚔ MY BATTLE ⚔

My battle was against KAPLING who chose Summoner from the Primal Force of Dragon and Monsters from the Primal Force of Earth, just like I did.
📝 RULES OF THE BATTLE
The rules of the game were:
- Standard Game: which means no changes, modification or addition to the normal playing techniques.
- Mana Cap of 25
- Elements that can be used include all: Water, fire, Earth, light, death and dragon.
MY STRATEGY 🎯 AND LINE-UP ♟
For my strategy, here are my Summoner and Monsters, and I'll tell you why I chose each Summoner and Monsters.
MY SUMMONER
DRAKE OF ARNAK

I chose this Dragon Summoner to partake in the challenge of the week, with a Dragon Summoner. Although it is the only Dragon Summoner I have, it's ability of shield to friendly Monsters came in handy.
MEET MY MONSTERS
REGAL PERYTON
GOBLIN PSYCHIC
DIAMOND DRAGON
MEET MY MONSTERS
Monster Name | Image | Reason for Choosing |
---|---|---|
Regal Peryton | ![]() | I chose the Regal Peryton as my first line Monster for a wonderful reason. Her ability to evade attacks and her speed of 5 is very wonderful. This implies that she can easily evade attacks from Melee attackers and sometimes Magic attackers who have low speed. The aim is to allow the enemies waste their attacks while my team members deliver theirs. The shield from the Dragon Summoner will also add to her defense. |
Goblin Psychic | ![]() | I placed this Monster in my team for the obvious reason to heal and deliver some wonderful shots. |
Diamond Dragon | ![]() | The Legendary Diamond Dragon! I placed it at the last position because of its ability to evade attacks. Hence, it can easily evade attacks from my opponent's Sneak Monsters, if there are any. Plus, it has great shield, so it can shield him if he is attacked by Melee and Ranged Monsters. |
THE BATTLE ⚔ and 🎤 COMMENTARY
☆ As expected my Regal Peryton evaded attacks from the Melee and Magic Monsters.
☆ Only the magic attack from my opponent's Goblin Psychic affected her, however her health was immediately replenished by my healer, Goblin Psychic.
☆ My opponent made a wrong move by putting a Ranged attacker at the second position, that's why he was powerless at that position.
....I WON THE BATTLE!!!
DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?
Yes, my strategy worked so well.
The Regal Peryton evaded multiple attacks while unleashing hers, and this dealt a great blow on my enemy.
I won without losing any Monster.
ANY REGRETS?
For the match, no!
But for the rental of the Diamond Dragon, yes I have a regret.
Due to the High Mana Cap of the Monster, I didn't enjoy my rental. This is because Splinterlands gave me more battles with less than 15-21 as the Mana Cap. In cases like this, it will be different to bring in the Diamond Dragon. It will only be easier with Mana Cap of 40 and above.
So, I didn't enjoy my rental.
DO YOU LIKE DIAMOND DRAGON?
Yes I do. It's a Legendary of course 😅
