Moxian Mages, the New Earth Meta in Rise of the Commons Rule Set?

Hello again, my coffee loving friends. For this week, we're focusing on Rise of the Commons Rule set. In Rise of the Commons, only Common and Rare Units may be used in battles.
This rule limits a lot of my options since I cannot use Epics and Legendaries. In addition to that, the mana is also a bit low making the choices a bit harder than usual.

STRATEGY
The strategy is simple. Since there's low mana available, use Moxian Rebel to increase the number of units that have magic attacks which is compatible with Obsidian.
Unfortunately, I overthought and prepared against the possibility of Sneaks. If I put Regal Peryton on the front as the main tank, I would've won this game easy.
CARD POSITIONING
In this battle, I used the summoner, Obsidian, and units, Lurking Puffer, Moxian Rebel, Chaos Agent, Khmer Princess, Regal Peryton .
Quick Stats
Level 2: Rare Summoner. Allows level 3 common, level 2 rare, level 2 epic and level 1 legendary. |

||
1. Level 1: Corrossive Ward destroys the opponent's armor when they attack. It's the same as Thorns but only for armor. It also reduces the opponent's max armor by 2 everytime it takes Corrossive Ward damage. | 2. Level 1: The Weapons Training is really strong as it is very compatible with Obsidian's increased magic damage. | 3. Level 1: Chaos Agent is a cheap filler for Weapons Training. It only costs 1 mana and since he doesn't have any attacks, he can be a target for Weapons Training. | 4. Level 1: Khmer Princess is also a low mana magic damage unit that is compatible with Obsidian. | 5. Level 2: I placed him at the back to deter potential Sneak attacks. The Flying ability is strong defense against Sneak attacks because most of them uses melee attacks. |
