Hello everyone it’s been a while since I last did a breakdown on an upcoming Play to Earn Games, therefore here is one that I am looking out for.

Their Ultimate Goal is to become the leading pixelated ecosystem in the metaverse.

Tiny Colony Base Game allows players to start building a colony without requiring any NFTs. Players are able to enjoy the Construction and Management Simulator elements of Tiny Colony by building a basic set of cells, and interacting with the base game characters in the “Training Grounds”.

NFTs are available for purchases for players who want to maximize their experience and participate in community events in the Tiny Colony Metaverse. They can be purchased using TinyBits ($TINY - native token) and can be upgraded using TeenyBits ($TEENY - in-game currency), which can be earned in-game.

Types of NFTs

Here are all the NFTs that will be rollout in tinyverse.

Games Modes/Events

Gladiator Arena (PvP)

Allows players to go head to head with 1 of their high-level NFTs against another players’ The winner will be rewarded with loot and $TEENY while the loser will lose some EXP points on their NFT’s.

It sounds like this will be a 1v1 player vs player game mode. Other players can also participate by watching the event and placing bets on who is going to win the matchup.

Battle Arena (PvE & PvP)

So in this game mode, players can assemble a squad of 5 NFTs and play against waves of creatures released in the area, while fighting against another players’ squad. Players will earn $TEENY by clearing each wave.

This sounds like “Survival of the fittest” game mode where all the players will be thrown into the arena and fight against waves of mobs (environment) and still have to guard against other players.

Tiny Wars (PvE & PvP)

Okay, so this is a guild | clan wars where alliances will wage war against each other. There isn’t much information about this on the whitepaper regarding the PvE aspect.

Tiny Slots

So, players can play mini-games for a chance to win exciting prizes like $TEENY and NFTs. Sounds like gambling using slots or something.

Tiny Theatre

Alright, this is not a game mode but rather a place whereby players can purchase an “admission ticket” to watch Tiny Colony Animated Short Films. Yep, that's right guys, they probably release their Anime TV series while this Theatre is mentioned under their roadmap 2023 & beyond.

“Free Demo!” but what with the NFTs?

As mentioned in the whitepaper, the tiny colony base game will allow players to start building a colony without requiring any NFTs.

Below is a quick summary of the different levels of gameplay:

1. Free Players (no NFTs or Colony ownership)
   Anyone can play the basic game mode (construction & management) without owning an NFT or a Colony, but there will be some limitations. Free players will find the game fun and engaging however, to fully utilize the play to earn potential and enjoy all the experiences and wonders of Tiny Colony purchasing an NFT or a Colony is recommended.

2. NFT Owners (no Colony ownership)
   Players who own character NFTs will have access to all game modes and have the ability to expand their NFTs. Owning an NFT will allow more earning potential, engage in quests, battles, gladiator battles, and other unique experiences in the game. There will be multiple options of character NFT customizations and abilities available for purchase through the Tiny Bazaar (marketplace) that can be purchased with $TINY.

3. Colony Owners
   Users that own a Colony will enjoy all the game modes and experiences Tiny Colony will offer. There will be NFT and Colony bonuses, access to the rewards pools, and governance abilities.

This picture shows how the ecosystem will be like in Tiny Colony. I have added the green box to highlight the most important location of the loop which is the assembling army (NFTs) part.

It is mentioned in the whitepaper that you will need $TINY to purchase any NFTs in their marketplace, so if you are free-to-play players, the game will require to have the functionality of swapping $TEENY for $TINY. There is no mention of any swapping capabilities.

Currently, we are in Q1, 2022. They just finished their Colony NFT sales over at fractal and will be conducting NFT airdrops to the colony land holders soon.
