Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 164// Spirit Of The Forest

Hello dear Hive-Bloggers...
wow... I just realized how long I had an hiatus here.
I didn't post anything for more than a month already.
But yeah... I have never thought that splinterlands would occupy so much time of my days LOL.
Finishing the quests, tournaments, and then trying to push up the rank .. and then there are still brawls... pfuiii...
It is basically becoming like a fulltime job now... but the rewards at the moment is really too good to ignore :-D.
Even my little daughter now already sees it as my job too.
It's somehow funny to hear a 4 year old toddler saying that she wanted to play splinterlands like Mom and Dad to earn money hahahahha.
I don't lie, she had really said that when I asked her what she wants to do in the future :-D.

When autumn was coming I bought her a green coat, and the first reaction she made when I let her wear it, was like this:
"I'm the Spirit of the Forest!"

I was like..."What? How did she come up with that? It never even come across my mind to relate the coat with the spirit of the forest."
But then I just realise... how amazing children's fantasy is.
She related the green colour of the coat with this beautiful monster.
Because of that I was thinking to make an artwork using "Spirit of the Forest" as a model :).
You can see the step by step painting process and the picture of the end result as follows:

This is basically my imagination of the beautiful spirit of the forest. However I also love the gold foil image of this monster too.

I think she looks so dazzling in gold, so I am using the same model to make a gold foil card.for our ruler of the forest.

Ok everyone, finally I can complete one work again and share it with you here.
I want to present these artworks to the splinterlands team and participate in the artwork challenge this week.

It would be great if I can win some upvotes but even if it's not, I am still delighted to show off some result of my attempt to hone my drawing skill in digital art :).
My goal is to make an artpiece which is good enough to be tokenized and got the public to appreciate it well.

Good to read something from you after a while, thanks for the update :) Who would have thought that playing a game on Hive would be a real job one day, right? :D Incredible to see the progress of our chain and community :) Hive just hit a new ATH earlier today, super exciting times...

Yes, This is really a beautiful surprise :-D.
But now there are many new players coming too, so the competition is getting fiercer and fiercer :-D.

Haha :)) I actually don´t play Splinterlands but I am happy so many of you guys do :D From what I have heard and read, this game has been the main driving force behind the current increase of the coin price ;)

Yes, I do think so. For the last few months there have been many new players coming, hence plenty of new investors too. And soon new edition of cards will be issued. I must say that watching the pre-order value of those cards making me so overwhelmed.
Frankly speaking... I am still feeling as if all these are so unreal...
Who have ever thought that something that you can not touch could be sooooo valuable...
Tell this to people who are not following the development of blockchain, they would surely think that those people buying cards with this amount of money are out of their mind LOL.
And who could imagine that a plot of virtual land in this game is even more expensive than the actual piece of land in my country :-D.
And there are still the rental/leasing value of the cards.
Just from this alone, it is not surprising that this game drove the hive price higher too, cos it run in the hive-blockchain afterall.
If this game can compete well with Axie-Infinity---that would be even better, be it for the players, or the hivers, they will all gain something.

Yeah, I heard the rewards and numbers that are currently in Splinterlands are just insane so no wonder people from all over the crypto space have been flocking to our chain to see what is going on here :D I don´t know how Splinterlands are standing against Axie but I wouldn´t be surprised if our game had bigger fan base in the end... Oh! First of all, sorry that I just saw your post right now. I visited your blog from time to time, I found that you didn't have any new posts in the past month.

I'm so happy that you found free time from the "Splinterlands" and had a new post on Hive again. Your artwork of the "Spirit Of the Forest" is excellent and she is really beautiful in both versions, in green or gold background.

It's great that the reward is really good. It's unfortunate that I cannot play it as it's too difficult for me to understand, as I told you during our last meeting in Bangkok.

Your little princess is very pretty. Yeah! She looks as if the real princess with the crown and the green coat. It's amazing to know that she said "I'm the Spirit of the Forest". It seems that she knows well about the Splinterlands. I think she would surely be a great player in the Splinterlands like her Mom and Dad in the near future.

Thank you @tangmo . Yeah... and this monster happened to be a very fast monster, so it suits her well hahaha. She is very active. Today she said she wants to be a rocket and fly the moon LOL.

Hahaha yes, I almost forgot to mention how nice it is that the price is rising again :-D.
Unfortunately I had so few liquid hive, so I can't enjoy the profit just yet hahahaha.
