Splinterlands Battle: Higher League, More Challenges

Good morning to you from this part of the world. I am happy to keep to this early morning schedule of sharing with you on Hive before leaving for work. Thank God its Friday as weekend sets in.

I am happy with my increasing growth in the Splinterlands ecosystem. From one level to the other. My tentacles are spreading each passing day to unravel more in the game.

With 4 days to the end of this Splinterlands season, I am able to scale to a new height in my splinterlands Modern battle, that is from the Novice league to Bronze League III.

I also learnt that the higher I climb in my league, the more Reward Points I would earn and the better chests I can unlock! That was a pretty fine promise.

Something was missing in the Congratulations

While I celebrated my win, nobody told me that the higher league comes with a far reaching challenge that I had at the novice league. I had expected more fierce battle but something I didn't see coming was the deduction of my reward points each time I lost a battle at the higher league.

In the novice league, your rating points only increase when you win battles. Nothing happens to the points when you lose battles. But not in Bronze League III and higher leagues.

I had a shocker when I lost the first battle in the new league and boom, I saw myself back to the Novice league, 20+ points were deducted. That was so devastating to bear. Truly, uneasy is the head that wears the crown.

I am only glad that each win that got me Bronze league III was better in terms of points rating: 101, 102 and 104 respectively.

This new level calls for more carefulness in battle strategy and more quality cards. I will have to buy some Chaos legion packs and open them so I can build my deck better for the future battles. below is a summary of my Splinterlands gaming profile.

I am getting to love this fun and the challenges that are coming with it. Getting to learn new things here everyday is quite satisfying. There is no going back at this stage. I keep moving forward to see what the future unveils in this leading play to earn game.

It's time to revise my battle strategies and look out for ways to constantly stay winning. Doing my best to check and recheck my playable summoners to know which guarantees a win.

Bronze league II and I are on my mind before the end of the season. Please wish me well.
