Part 7 - The Protector of the Smoldering Forest

Defeated and weakened, the shaman collapsed to the ground. Raelin spared him, hoping to learn more about these mysterious goblins. Through an exchange of gestures and drawings in the sand, she discovered that the Goblin Shamans' enchantments were not used for evil purposes but were a means of protection. They sought to ward off invaders who sought to exploit the riches hidden within the Smoldering Forest.
